So sad my friend and I were talking maybe 2 weeks ago about Dynamite Kid and Larry The Axe Hennig passing away. My friend said I think Mean Gene's next. I thought no way hes still ok. Hes still active with wwe with the edge and Christian show and storytime. I couldn't believe it today when I heard the news.

mean gene was the GOAT interviewer. rip. he will be missed. staple of so many childhoods across the globe. asked all the right questions and held the mic during so many iconic moments. the beautiful thing is if you ask 100 people for their favorite memory involving mean gene, you'll get 100 different answers. my favorite was watching him interview sheiky. they had amazing chemistry.
RIP. to a true legend in the business.

Loved when he was interviewing Flair after winning the rumble and someone was smoking a cigarette and he yells "Put that cigarette out!" Priceless. Asked him about it when I met him. Told me it was Pat Patterson Thanks for sharing
