The detolfs look like a waste of space, there's so much emptiness it's like you're only using 2/3 of the capacity. Might look "fuller" if you can add a 4th row of figs to each section. With the spice racks you add a fourth row by place figs in front. Similar to how I have Dunne & Bates. With displays, it’s up to the person displaying how to utilize the fixtures, I choose less is more for a cleaner look. My IC title history display has four rows and it still looks clean. I’ve seen people fit way more figures in there than my max, just not my preference.

I think for a standard lineup like that, I would look for higher spice racks, do the 3 rows of figures, and then fill the front row with belts, cards, and other misc. stuff.
Themed sections sound cool too, imagine each cube recreating a famous scene.

Oh and I forgot to mention you can even add additional shelving to the detolfs with add ons. That would eliminate a lot of negative space.
