At this point in his career, I’d take the money as well. It’s not like he’s 25-30 where he has all the time in the world. I don’t think Omega is going to ever be hotter than he is right now. If he ever wondered if he can make it big in WWE, how’s the time to capitalize. I think it was a huge sign that he might be going elsewhere after dropping the IWGP Title to Tanahashi. Plus he could basically do a double dip by going to WWE for a few years and then jumping over to AEW again if its still around.Get that big payday and main event spot little and then when his contract is up in three or four years when he's pushing 40 jump to AEW for another good money deal and a lighter work load, which is boys would probably do for him and to take him away from WWE.If he plays his cards right could pull kind of a mid 90's Outsides like they did jumping from WWF to WCW.

Would they be able to get him in time for the Royal Rumble? That would be one hell of an impact having a guy that most of the audience does not know come in and win the damn thing. I guarantee enough of the crowd there would know who Kenny is that he would get a big pop. Maybe not win the thing, but enter early and stay in until the final four.

I'd like to see someone actually stick to their guns when they say they don't need WWE. I couldn't stand certain WWE viewers trashing him as another boring, small, vanilla stunt monkey. Stay in New Japan, maybe work out a deal to do some time with All Elite, and continue to put on amazing matches with talent on similar levels. And leave a possible WWE storyline off the table for them, letting it stay exclusively in my mind. But it's his decision, let him do what he wants. Plus, we could at least get a proper Kenny O from Mattel. I believe anyone that says they "don't need" WWE is a liar. Not knocking NJPW or anything it's ing amazing..but what product has everyone grew up on? who have they seen all these years? where do you get the most exposure you can possibly get? WWE is the answer. Everyone is in the business to get into WWE even if it's for a short run or not. Scratching and clawing your way thru the indies and reaching the top of other promotions doesn't guarantee success or contentment in WWE. The culture may be on the cusp of shifting over there but generally it remains a one-man operation, one man whose "gut feelings" and steadfast beliefs take precedent over all else. Many before have felt their talents would be able to transcend the business and revolutionize the company, only to fall flat because they couldn't circumvent the politics or convince Creative to back them up, or because Vince didn't feel they had the "right stuff". If Omega is willing to put his professional fate in the hands of others and shoulder the intense schedule for however many buttloads of cash WWE is supposedly offering, all power to him. But if he values the freedom more than the fame of ending up on WWE's Alumni page then WWE may not be the place for him. Not everyone has to have the same route in life.

He beat Okada. He became HW champion. He main evented the Dome twice against the old and new Ace. He's won every title, reunited with Kota, and broken the star rating scale. He's climbed every mountain New Japan has to offer. AJ Styles is retiring in WWE. If Kenny wants that match at WrestleMania, he has to go get it. We've heard the regret from Sting. He wished he would have gone to WWE sooner. Whatever he decides, I hope Omega doesn't end up with any regrets.

It's now or never for Kenny Omega in the WWE. He's done all there is to do in NJPW. I can see him signing with the AEW as a way to really put them on the map, but my gut worry is it'll be another TNA and will fizzle out, and he'll have missed the last prime years of his career. Like others have said, he should go to the WWE to gain himself even more exposure, and then take that to AEW if he really wants to cause a stir in changing the World of Wrestling. With Roman Reigns seemingly out of the running of things, and with this whole new 'fresh start' in the WWE, and with Vince seeing the success of the likes of AJ Styles & Seth Rollins, I really think it's a pivotal moment for WWE & Kenny Omega.
The possibility of Kenny Omega vs AJ Styles, Kenny Omega vs John Cena, Kenny Omega vs Brock Lesnar, and Kenny Omega vs Triple H on the biggest of stages is something he just needs to do, for both himself and every fan, before it's too late.
If Omega stays in NJPW, his value will only start to diminish from now onwards.

As much as i'd like for him to stay in NJPW, He'd be flat out stupid to decline a multi million dollar deal with WWE

If the offer is true that's on the table I think down the road if he turn them down he'll have regrets for the rest of his life.Taking the deal would make him one of the highest payed stars in the biggest pro wrestling company in the world, more then likely a main event player from day one like AJ Styles was and also has the chance and likely hood to wrestle the likes of Styles,Rollins,Bryan...ect on the biggest stage possible and even has the chance to mix it up with some of the biggest stars in history of the business in Triple H,Angle,Taker..ect in the twilight of their careers.
With Reigns gone,Cena becoming less and less of a factor and the brand split itself it leaves spots open in the main event scene and could possibly be even the #1 heel or babyface on either brand.

Could you imagine in a years time, if Omega is the face of SD and Rollins is the face of RAW. And we get that as the Main Event at next year's WM? Even without titles on the line, that's certainly going to put butts in seats.

Glass half empty: It wouldn't main event because of Rock/Brock ?part II? I'm trying to be positive... really I am.

I'm guessing if he don't win the Universal title during his debut fans will be angry.

Watching his Wrestle Kingdom match on AXS right now, happened to note the "Final Fantasy" theme he wore for his entrance *hint hint*

The one thing with Kenny is it’s a guarantee that he will get an opportunity there to be the guy. If they are paying him that much he will get every opportunity in the world to be a star. I can see the bucks and Cody doubting they could be top guys in the wwe, but Kenny isn’t in the same category with them. He really should just sign and 2-3 deal and he still can go elsewhere afterwards.

It'd be awesome to see how he does in the big time. Both brands could do with some star power - pretty much everyone on the rosters except AJ, Bryan and Braun is in the US and IC title mix as often as the world title mix. Bring him in at the top and only going for the world titles.

Watching his Wrestle Kingdom match on AXS right now, happened to note the "Final Fantasy" theme he wore for his entrance *hint hint* It was actually from a game called Undertale. He also used the theme from it coming out. Honestly, not hitting the OWA and having Tana kick out, as well as tweeting "1-1" points far more to him staying, imo.

If he just cares about the big payday, he'll go. Assuming the offer is genuine and the best offer he has. It could quite plausibly - whether real or not - have been 'leaked' by Omega to get a better deal out of AEW or whoever couldn't it? I assume that's how these things work. Theoretically. But I think everyone with a brain would know WWE is going to offer him big money to come over. They're literally trying to buy every single indy star with the tiniest bit of buzz around them - obviously they're gonna try to buy the biggest non-WWE name in the world. And AEW is supposedly offering deals on-par with what WWE is offering guys already. It really comes down to what NJPW decides to offer him, and how much control he gets, as well as his continued placement as the new Ace of the company, imo. He legitimately lives in Japan and became a citizen there, so I doubt leaving is an easy choice for him to make.

He should take the deal and go to WWE for a few years. Then jump over to AEW if it's still in business. If he goes to AEW first he'll most likely be the #1 guy there just as AJ Styles was to TNA.

I just dont see why Vince would see any draw in getting Kenny then taking him away from NJPW and AEW. Look at what he has done with Finn you cant possibly think that the E is gonna treat Kenny any better.
