I don't collect them but is there a reason why warrior had that weird torso like his UE figure?

I don't collect them but is there a reason why warrior had that weird torso like his UE figure? It's one of the new action features they added for the Retro line. Basically the torso rocks side to side and you can throw or catapult one of the other figures.

Thanks so much, awesome pics and great collection. God, I would have rather had the bald Shawn Michaels than that scan lol. If it wasn't for the ponytail, I would have thought that they just mixed up a Randy Orton head for Shawn's and just said 'Screw it, thrown them out there anyway!' lol

I couldn't agree more about the Shawn Michaels. I'm picturing a bald retro of him & laughing. I really wish they had picked an earlier attire for him, preferably one that could match with Diesel when he comes out finally.

I’m pretty sure there’s no head scan on that Shawn Michaels.

Shawn and Goldberg are fighting it out for worst retro fig so far. Not sure which is worse.

Oh man. That HBK scan is atrocious
I like your Undy headwap but could use the hat.
I wonder how Warrior would look with a Legends Series 6 head.
Interesting how they gave both WCW purebreds jumper bodies...
Mankind looks good.

I think calling the HBK the worst Retro is a stretch. Yes, the head scan is atrocious, but a simple head swap makes it one of the best retros in my personal opinion. The pant sculpt is really nice in person, the deco is well done and the action works really well. I've been having my own superkick party the past couple days.

Not an era of Shawn I want, so not buying it anyway. Speaking of headswaps though, can anyone point out a head that would be good to put on the Flair retro if I want 91-92 WWF Flair? Or mid 90's WCW Flair?

Serious question: How is his action more of a superkick than Seamus's? I don't understand why his leg goes backward...

Good to see a fellow collector opening these guys up. After this wave, I am becoming genuinely concerned about the quality of this line. Issues: - Jericho's paint application is horrendous. The lower half is a different color than the upper half. On the lower hamstrings, it looks like someone painted the back with brown nail polish.
- Jericho and Angle are both beat up out of the box, which I got straight out of a case, which was in perfect condition. Jericho's butt is all nicked up. Angle has a chip. All of them seem to have gaps where the parts are joined. They just feel shoddy.
- Angle's action was loose straight out of the box. I've run into a fair share of figures with actions that are broken and/or nonfunctional. I can't tell if it's quality or if that's the intention. For example, my Nakamura's leg is super floppy. My KO's headbutt action just doesn't seem work. Is it a crappy action or does it really not work? And what is HBK's action? I can't make sense of it.
I'm wondering if we hear less about quality because less people are actually opening these. Were Hasbros like this? I wasn't collecting those from the store...

Thanks for sharing ! Ringside now showing early February for this wave That sucks, so glad I found them at Walmart. I think calling the HBK the worst Retro is a stretch. Serious question: How is his action more of a superkick than Seamus's? I don't understand why his leg goes backward... They are both those new kickers. They're ok, they can be a little hard to stand up sometimes though. I was very surprised to see these at Walmart this morning. Brickseek finally helped out. Was extra surprised because my Walmarts still have yet to get the Survivor Series cubes in. Had to cancel my ringside pre-order. This is the only other set I've bought in a store since series 1, I had to order all the others off ringside. I haven't seen any loose pics posted yet of these either, so I'm happy to be the first (I think). Like the other posts have already said, the Shawn Michaels head scan is pretty horrible. I did add an old jakks medal to the Kurt Angle. I also recently did some fix-ups to my Cena & Taker so they don't have hats molded on. Another great note, there are now 30 different retros that have been released (perfect number for a Royal Rumble). I took pics of the stupid QR codes that come with them. I'm glad they got rid of the stands to reduce costs, but they don't really need to include QR codes either IMO. Good to see a fellow collector opening these guys up. I actually thought the Jericho was the best in the series. I didn't notice the leg color being off until you pointed it out. That is a little annoying, but at least it's not as bad as that old painted Denial Bryan face they use to do. The only one from the set I got that was beat up was the Angle. Both of the ones at the store were a little dinged up so I just picked the better of the two. Mattel should have better quality control on these, but at least the line is continuing. My Nakamura's leg is wobbly too, I think they're all like that. I do think less people are opening these as they hit Walmarts last Tuesday & we didn't see loose pics on here until I posted them on Sunday. I did collect Hasbros series 1 & 2 back in the day & they did seem to be better quality. I do remember my Akeem breaking when my friend was playing with him, & I think my Hogan might have lost a finger, but I was little & we did play with them a lot. Now I just set them up.
