Whew finally got lucky and found this brand new nxt elite at a local target! Shockingly, people are slightly after that figure. I think itâs one that some people âmissed outâ on. Yea itâs actually why I bought it. Outside of Black, it was one of the few NXT elites I didnât already have. I think itâs just Rollins and the revival at this point. |

Anyway, hope someone out there found my post useful, it's the simplest way to give him a more proper height.

I figured out what was bothering me about the Aleister figure; it's too short. The Daniel Bryan fig uses the same parts, he's 5-10 and Black is supposed to be 6-0 so I wasn't having it. The Black fig's head rests too low, giving it mild stumpy neck syndrome, so I carved away some material from inside the head so I can slide it up more. This added about 3mm to 4mm in height, which makes me like it a lot more. These pics have the head raised.   Yoshi Tatsu is 6-1. Tatsu uses thighs that are 5mm longer, the head also rests high on the neck peg, making the fig way too tall. If it used the DB/AB thighs it would be the right size (maybe this thigh didn't exist back then). The two styles of kickpads are the same height. With the raised head, the AB fig goes from "short" to "acceptable". Now it fits in more or less. I think adding a 1mm to 2mm piece of styrene to the boot soles would make it perfect. The DB fig also needs like 2mm shaved off the soles.  The easiest and best way i think to make him taller is to just swap the lower legs with Top Talent Rollins, then add Blacks boots back on, it boosts him up to the accurate height. As for Bryan, his actual height is around 5'7 so he's considerably shorter than Black. Also, did you remove Blacks left pec tattoo? or is that a factory botch. |

That looks like a factory error. As mentioned in this thread and the fixup thread Black was noticeably shorter than Bret Hart who is listed as an inch shorter than Black I knew there had to be a set of calves that would work I had used an extra pair of L1 Slaughter calves painted black. And after seeing marino13 idea of using an old Jericho figures calves with the part of the kickers attached to them I looked around my parts box but didnât have that or an extra Top Talent Rollins. So I gave mine an extra pair of the L1 Slaughter calves painted black. I had also put some cotton in the head to give him a neck. And heâs much better scale wise now. Original - Lower leg swap -  |

I feel like it might add a bit too much height. Kingâs work I switched mine to his yesterday because I wanted non-painted ones on him. I just removed the crowns from them. I think the height is still good.   |

Makes the lowers too long, knees too high...and requires buying a new figure. â˘Mattel using the Yoshi Tatsu thighs for the next release would be better since the AB thighs are on the shorter side and could use the extension. So I'm sticking with what I did :]
