as i said, they'll come out when they come out. they don't owe you an explanation. goddamn, some people here would've killed themselves back in the jakks days when there were no "release dates" and stuff just showed up in stores That's the difference tho. No release date is different from telling us they'll be out in January. When they say that we expect them. After all they've been ready for 8 months. Hopefully by the posts below that's them trickling in now. |

Bill has mentioned in the past that when they give an approximate date, they are going by what they are told and that nothing is set in stone. There’s so many deciding factors here. Mattel shipping, target ordering, customs, stores not keeping up on order and all the way down to store employees doing inventory count. These will probably start showing up in the next week or two. There’s no reason to be irate about a figure not being out yet. If it was a preorder back in the summer and it’s not here, yeah you’d have a reason to be pissed...but you didn’t. All of you with your panties in a twist will find these and then move on to the next wave to cry about not being available yet. |

i contacted target service by chat, they said that they have 2 figs of each early this morning. Wow what a great distribution ! yeah would be nice if they could stock some more so you don’t have to be on there the second they become available. |

The images of Itami on Target's site are all based on the old Series 4 lineup anyway. The product pages weren't accessible until just recently, hence why nothing has been shown. I've been tracking the BrickSeek listings for months and I always suspected there was more out there, but I never had a way of getting to the full slate of prototype images. Even if I had known the TCINs, I don't think it would have done me much good; with Target's site anymore, there has to be an actual product page available before all of the images can be viewed. For what it's worth, I believe the MOC proto images are several months old. |
