It's Mattel in 2019 remember, if a figure doesn't have an error, it's not complete. That sucks if it's gonna be like that on all of them. And I'm not one to complain about hardly anything. In the proto images it looks like it's done properly.Unfortunately that's how it is with almost everything, the proto will look perfect but the final product will have flaws left, right and centre. Take McDonald's for an example. Whenever they come online, i'm probably going to try make sure i see it's a good one before buying.

Yes i think you are right, we have to check if we can, even when buying on ebay, to make sure that the quality is ok, its just bizarre for a first time in a long long time, a series is released and there is no auction for the series on ebay ! Its this easier to find pete dunne and the red rooster than this series ?
By the way your pics of the blugeons bros are kicking ass ! Just sad that they got released at the same time that this gimmick is over...in 2019 mattel sould find a way to release figs sooner, because most of the time the look or gimmicks are passé.

When you check the picture of the figure of drew for the publicity, the way the legs are , mattel knew that they made a mistake with this figure

In the proto images it looks like it's done properly. It looks like the hair piece wasn't mounted properly. It may be a one-off, it may be a consistent problem. It was a consistent problem with the HOF Diesel. I probably saw 20-25 figures in store before I finally found one that didn't have the gap between the hair piece and sculpted hair. We probably won't know until they start to hit more stores.

It's been a minute since I've posted around here and holy ship boys and girls, y'all are taking the cake for being some Poopy Pants Paul and Paulines here. Work with Chinese manufactures and customer demand, THEN decide if it's worth the struggle going back and forth until plastic toys that RSP for $19.99ish are worth that hassle with factories. HINT: It's not.
These aren't appliances that's main function is screwed up from a factory mishap, we're talking paint here. Do yourselves a favor and do some yoga. This is the craziest series of complaints I've read about since I started coming on here 17 years ago. This place was filled with factions and drama and one point and this is what's making me roll my eyes.
They're action figures, non-essential parts of living. Buy them and be glad you have the means to do so.

I too have been here for 17 years maybe longer, and over that time, I have found it funny cause there’s always a reply like yours, basically saying “its toys, get over it” Look, we are collectors, we notice everything, I spent most my years here as a customizer, so if the slightest little detail wasn’t on the figure, I’d do it myself, we pay attention to everything, height, tattoos, hair, beard, boots, all details Figures now jumping over double what they were in price over the past 17 years as you should know, 5 figures cost over $100, let that sink in Is making a figure without a huge line of missing paint on his head and same sized legs so he can stand too much for us to ask? I think not, I can’t see how people keep making these issues seem unnoticeable.

You should be able to turn the package to the side a bit and tell if his leg is bent. I’m almost 100% sure there’s nothing wrong with that leg, or boot. Better yet, look at the plastic holding him in. The right side curve sits higher than the left. When the figure is pushed into that shell it can cause the leg to bend out a bit.

I've seen figures before particularly AJ elites half in half out of the plastic shell thing and it almost looks as if the boots/kickpads are broken.
