You keep saying/thinking Ruby is getting another Elite because of that long haired render. Isn't the more likely scenario that it was scrapped for the figure we got? There is a listing for a Ruby Basic, but nothing yet for another Elite. Why are you so sure we are getting another Elite? Well the NXT fig and the render shown as part of the elite slides were both shown at SDCC... so your theory isn’t really a logical one. |

Eh. That is kind of annoying about Hideo not being in the first set but oh well. Ruby and Black were my main wants in this line or any line.

I could care less about Itami being moved to series 5, it was the odd figure out in an exceptional set.
If it was Black or Drew however... Not even a wish from the Dragon Balls could undo the backlash that would follow.

I dont understand why the designers cant look at other figures for inspiration and emulate the best parts. Killian's hair is dreadful, looks like an unfinished sheet of clay.
Look at Eowyn figures from the old LOTR Toy Biz series, they executed that thin wet hair look really well, and the hair was very flexible so the articulation wasn't lost despite being long.

But they were both shown at the same time so my assumption is they'll release both. After all she's a pretty hyped name right now. The render was shown in the same slide, between Ali and Lashley. I'm presuming that means she's going to be in the main line as the Walgreens is backlogged to hell and a complete sh*t show to be honest with distribution. |

I love the NXT figures but sure it would be good if they could get them out quicker maybe through main line. NXT 4 is the strongest elite set of the year. 3 first time in the lines and great Drew McIntyre update. Roderick Strong and an updated Andrade are the best figures in wave 5,Elite Titus and Hideo in the same wave clogging pegs for years to come. Hoping we get a 3rd wave of NXT figures this year

Goddammit. Itami has been signed with wwe since 2014 and still doesn’t have an elite. He’s a legend and deserves respect now.
What a bland set now. Unless you collect hairy white beard guys with ugly tattoos. Guess I won’t have to hunt at target for a while.

Vader didn’t wear the mastodon helmet with his WWF Vader Time attire but I’m glad that they included it so I can put it on the legends figure. Hacksaw is coming out with a couple of accessories that don’t go with his New Gen attire but don’t think anyone is complaining because they can be used with the legends and basic figures. Stone Cold never held the winged eagle, smoking skull, and big eagle at the same time but it was great to get all 3 of them. Wish Mattel would do this more often. How much better would the Ultimate Maniacs DM Warrior be if he had the yellow IC and/or purple winged eagle? Would we be complaining he never had those belts wearing that attire or be ecstatic getting those belts? I’m thinking the latter. |

I was looking forward to get Itami soon. But bumping him does make the next set almost as appealing. Now I need all four of them too.

Mattel - Even though they are selling fine we are canceling both flashback store exclusive lines because we want the stores to order more of the regular line.
Mattel - reveals two more store exclusive NXT lines.
Makes sense to me.
