I could see some fans booing em for his WCW association but majority of that building would've cheered especially if he came out unannounced. I remember Cornette coming out in 97 and getting a pop in that whole WWF invasion angle they ran for a bit.

20) ppv you wish he wrestled on: Wrestlemania IXYeah, I kind of wish he would have wrestled Bret at Mania 9 to give Bret a good start to his run as champion. Maybe it would have gotten him over a little more, given him a better push. Would have been neat to see Bret chase Flair from Survivor Series 92 to Mania 9. Flair being the wily veteran and Bret being the young upstart, Flair showing Bret how to be a champion, Bret coming close to beating him on a few occasions, then finally beating Flair at Mania 9 for the Title. Flair could have defended the title against Savage or Perfect at the Rumble and Bret could have won the Rumble to get the chance to face Flair at Mania. Those are my two favorite looks for Flair, though I liked a lot of his. I also liked the SNME in February of 1992 when he merged these two looks; red trunks with black knee pads and the red and black boots. You can kind-of see it in this picture:  |
