They finally gave Kevin Owens smaller arms, so they figured that one out.

I don’t have an issue with any of them other than the arms being too huge. The new Kurt from E66 looks damn near perfect minus those arms. Too much complaining for a $20 figure. Compared to where figures were 10 years ago I’ll take this. If you want unique parts for every figure you get, go buy a Japanese import and shell out the extra $40-$50. Except nobody is asking for unique parts for every figure, just better selection from the current crop of torsos.

R3 kurt angle by jakks was made nearly 20 years ago and is the best kurt angle ever released period!! Mattel should have made a unique torso mould for angle exactly like the r3 torso and used that. We are now stuck with a jacked up angle now. Which is disappointing considering there is literally dozens of elite angles that will be made with diffentt attires. Why did they use so much new tooling for a one off figure (elite 66) torso, boots etc but used ryback with boots for every other elite angle??? Makes zero sense.

Angles physique was somewhere in between mr perfect and ultimate warrior. Mattel had to make a judgement call.

With Angle being a bigger dude in a singlet most of the time the molds were a lot more limited to pick from. So I can see maybe making excuses for that. But damn, so many other guys get 100% the wrong parts when there are great molds to pick from that would be damn near perfect. I get the frustration.

I don’t mind the torso as much, it’s the arms that look awful. Even at his biggest, he never had huge arms, but then especially around 2005 when he had some nerve damage that kept him from bulking his arms up.
I at least fixed my EG with some extra Shawn Michaels arms, but I don’t want to have to buy two figures every time I just want an Angle.

Are you all done whining yet? can never understand why someone like yourself would want to come in here and moan about people moaning about something? What's the point? You know the thread title explains exactly what's gonna be inside so why even open it never mind comment?

Why would they use the torso designed specifically for Kofi on Swann when the standard small torso would have at least looked like his physique.

I went out of my way to state that I'm not going to compare them to imports. I'm talking strictly 19.99 price point lines. I'm pretty happy with Star Wars black and Hasbro in general. The thing I like about Hasbro is that they retire parts. Mattel hasn't retired a single torso in almost 10 years, these things get dated. The original HHH chest among others are just not very good when held up to the light today. Hasbro tends to trash the molds that don't hold up.

I agree to an extent. Mainly because the singlet looks bad. However if you do what many once upon a time did, which was putting that jack swagger singlet on a rvd torso and arms then it looks terrible as well. I think they should’ve kept the muscular legs and switched the arms to smaller ones.

I got elite 59 and regret buying it. Looks like a jakks figure hes so ripped and too tall. Apart from the arms what's the elite 66 one like scale wise?

That Blue Bloods R3 Angle was fire. Crazy it came out over 15 years ago.

I’m just hoping they fixed his legs. I’ve owned 3 EG Kurt Angles and all 3 had really loose leg joints, come to think of it APA Bradshaw has the same issue. To stay on topic, I’m not too upset about Angles part choices, there has been way worse ( legends Perfect was way too skinny) . I’m not going to nitpick if it doesn’t bother me.

It's sad because I think the only mold Mattel retired were the open-cut elbow pads that came with Legends Sgt. Slaughter. I felt like they should have kept it or at least improved on it as some other flashbacks could use them and would give more variety in that area.

I have no issue with Angle figures. Around the time of his E59 figure, the dude was jacked. There are a lot of other part choices I'd take to task over Angle. People giving a not-even-200lbs guy like Gargano the Rollins torso comes to mind, but Mattel had the good sense to not do that one themselves. Samoa Joe's figures look good, until you turn him sideways and he just looks like an out of shape skinny guy. I like to think Mattel used this photo for reference, and if that's the case then E59 is fine with me.

My issue is where is how we can’t certain kneepads or unique molds for figures that will be reused over and over. Shawn couldn’t get his kneepads because mattel states that it would be redundant to his tights design, but her the best of attitudes Jericho gets kneepads he never wore. Then somehow we get unique molds for one offs like the latest elite Kurt angle, the wrestlemania 33 Seth that will more than likely not be used again. Jeff hardy is still wearing a painted tank top, but has yet to get the proper mold.
