I'm actively trying to wait and buy figures at 50% off MSRP and these people are going after figures for 8 times the markup. What a time to be alive.

These resell prices are crazy! This is ridiculous if this is what collecting WWE Elite's has turn into.

These resell prices are crazy! This is ridiculous if this is what collecting WWE Elite's has turn into. People don’t even realize this is part of what kills the industry. Everyone wants to go it’s scalpers it scalpers but the truth is that if idiots didn’t pay these kind of prices for this stuff then the scalpers would buy them and flip them, they would move on to the next idiot or trend. It’s stupid! It’s why these guys that have no job can drive store to store everyday first thing in the morning while us who work hard show up after a 10 hour day or 60 hour week tired to empty shelves or picked clean of the good ones. Ironically it’s not the scalpers to blame, it’s the fools who pay their ridiculous prices.

The sad part, is since im from canada, my only chance to get the exclusive is to buy at high price on ebay. If mattel had a site and sell on it, no more scalpers on ebay...

Ironically it’s not the scalpers to blame, it’s the fools who pay their ridiculous prices. I understand where you're coming from - but that's a very black and white way to look at it: sometimes paying the secondary market price for certain figures is the only option some people have if they want it... you don't think I'd love to walk into a store and find Harley Race and pay the retail price? Unfortunately, that's never going to happen (he's not even sold over here)... many people are in a similar position and also want the figure, so obviously it drives the price up. Basic supply and demand. At the end of the day, I do think a lot of the blame has to be put on Mattel and their distribution choices/problems - if enough of these type of figures were being made in the first place and they could be easily found, then scalping wouldn't be an issue.

Harley Race-$125 Pete Dunne-$250 E63 Bob Backlund-$65 HOC Ultimate Warrior-$65 This reminds me of my biggest issue with mwf pod. When they get on their rants about “you missed it, tough luck pay eBay prices” All well and good for two guys who can literally walk into Mattel, rsc etc and get figs they want, but for us overseas this is our only option sometimes. Yet they say they don’t like re releases. I like the show, but that line always bugs me when they have it so much easier than most getting figs.

Backlund is going for $35-$50 on average. Dunne is a horrible example as there is only one posted to date. Race is what it is. Everything comes down in price except what is thought to be very rare after a figure has been out a while like race. Scalpers aren't doing nearly as well as you make it seem. After fees they make maybe $5 - $10 on some of these figures

it is ashame we are in 2019 and still have online buying problems. If they stocked there sites , we really wouldn't have this issue so widespread. Especially when there stores don't even order them.
