I can't even find any FB 3 Jake's on ebay. There are two that I see - one that has had the BAF piece removed for $118.50 shipped, and another for $149.99.

The most recently closed sale ended two days ago at $74 + shipping, which seems about average for a carded figure. Loose ones appear to be going for around $40. Dunne is closing under $70 now in many cases. I gotta say, until recently, I had zero interest in the secondary market, but since all this sort of became a thing, I've really enjoyed following the price trends on these things. Don't anyone here ever let anyone tell you that collecting is a weird hobby, 'cause I'll always be around to make y'all look perfectly normal by comparison.

I almost never follow the secondary market prices for items. The last true secondary market item I followed closely was the Hot Wheels Bigfoot Monster Truck. At first the 1:24 scale one was released. So naturally on eBay the price of the truck was $50+. Now this truck is starting to make it's way toward mass retail. The eBay prices have diminished for the truck severely. The bubble burst since the truck is now easy to get. The truck retails for $10.

Same thing is happening for a lot of these figures, especially ones that aren't short packed chases and are just the result of impatient collectors. I just think it's interesting to watch in real time. The window for those looking to capitalize is so small, and it's kinda funny to see some of the same people making a habit of this having turned several Pete Dunne figures over for three figures now having to adjust on a daily basis to keep up with the diminishing trends.

I never use the secondary market. Figures have specific values to me. My top priority is getting what I want in my collection. If I came across a Dunne I'd buy it and 100% use it for trade bait. As a Canadian collector I've missed on a lot of old stuff. I'm pretty reasonable and trade things for what I want, the perceived value doesn't matter much when it comes to scarcity on my end. In the end I leave a lot of value on the table I could have taken advantage of with some figures I've traded, but in the end it's a hobby. That and I don't mind helping out other collectors when I can with higher end items.

Been trying to get one at a somewhat decent price on eBay for the last week or so, but all end up around $70 after adding shipping. Not living with an hour of a Target makes it hard to go out of the way to go look. I do pass one on my driving route for work, but it has been stuck on 4 figures on popfinder for over a week now. I have already bought 2 figures just to try to get the numbers down for them to reorder more and then I could return the old ones when the new stock get in. Now I just waiting and hoping the stock goes up a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday morning as those are the days I pass that Target.

Seems like a few people have had a similar experience with the series. I have kept a eye on the nearest metro area which is Kansas City and of all the Targets around there a few have gotten increases, but they usually go down by 1 before the day is over. With their comic con coming up soon I figure someone maybe loading up to trying to catch people there,

Casual mom or dad won't be picking him up as he's not as well known as other guys in this set. Stores will keep restocking as overall it's a pretty good set.
