Before I even post the tweet, I know a lot of you probably have “no interest in seeing the undertaker anymore”, but he will always be around until he decides to hang it up and I still like Taker. Finn Balor posted this on Twitter...
I am all for a Demon vs Deadman mania match plus it’ll put balor back in the mix as a top guy

Finn is actually a perfect guy to go against Taker unless we're getting another: Arrive. Tombstone. Leave. I love seeing Taker, but I don't go into his matches expecting classics like he put on with Michaels back in the day.
If they're gonna keep Taker going every Mania and not just let the old guy retire, every year he's gonna have to go up against someone with insane speed and stamina (Balor/Rollins/AJ) or a big man (Braun/Joe/Sullivan) because with the big guys, Taker can have a GREAT ten minute slugfest and call it a day. More spry guys like Finn allow Taker to have lots of rest spots, because as long as he can get up in time and sell, the spry guys can constantly go high risk to make it more believable that Taker is down for as long as he is.
It's weird. His match versus Cena, fits the formula. Match versus Roman, exception to the rule. Match versus Bray, bad idea as it doesn't fit the formula. Match versus Shane, hidden well enough because of the spots. Match versus Brock, fits the formula.
Now I'm just listing matches since the end of the streak. In reality, his last great match was his first of the back to backs with Hunter. Hunter had to carry him through the second match, and as much as I hate Punk, that was all him dragging around a dead body for 20 minutes.

If Seth is gonna take on Brock at WM, I would much rather have Balor go for the IC title against Dean.

I'm not sure how well this match can work in 2019. Given the size difference, Balor should be a huge underdog. But if Taker's as broken down as he has seemed for seemingly about seven years now, the best story to tell with him is "has he still got it in him?" - which makes him the underdog. I don't see Taker bumping well for Balor's stuff.
But Demon vs Deadman is a worthwhile proposition, as characters go. I just think it could end up similar to the Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt feud, which teased the whole "new face of fear" thing but really did nothing for Bray, and did nothing for Taker's legacy.
