I noticed that most or at least a significant amount of NXT UK wrestlers all lookalike. All their styles are also similar. Below picture applies to only 1 demographic - it looks like a Finn Balor Multiverse! As an ethnic person, who is trying to get into NXT UK and lived the 80's+90's glory of "individual and unique styles" which attracted all kinds of people of all colours, it is hard to buy into it - my demographic is not really catered for here. But I guess it is the same thing when you look at Japan and Mexico, for example. Sure their in ring wrestling is friggin awesome, but to me its all the same - 2 white bearded, short British dudes fighting (with no knee pads). Do you think WWE is doing that on purpose? Can anyone recommend current UK wrestlers that are original or matches that will help identifying them separately?

When I saw pictures on witter, I thought the dude Pete Dunne fought was Trent Seven. So there is some validity to your point haha

I’m also a person of colour and NXT UK TakeOver Blackpool was the first NXT UK show I watched and despite it being an amazing event, not once did it cross my mind that everybody looked alike 🤔🤨

Is it because they all have facial hair? Otherwise they don’t look alike lol they all are rather basic in the character department atm but that will eventually change.

Yeah, Dave Mastiff and Pete Dunne practically look like clones.

It's a problem with all wrestling right now.
Everyone looks the same.
No one is distinguishable from the last

Wonder Twin powers activate This comparison got old fast, especially since Rhea Ripley has neither a beard nor a child.

oh please, I get the OP's point. I checked out NXT UK, lord knows WWE Network did a marathon of NXT UK shows leading up to their Takeover PPV, so I got to see most of the roster. Definitely no diversity in the British wrestling scene. Not sure what these guys have against knee pads or razor blades. But the wrestling is pretty tight. Characters do need to develop though, and we really REALLY have to get away from using "real" names...zack gibson, joe coffey, dennis something or the other.
And yeah nobody said Rhea has a beard, but anyone can clearly see that there's some resemblance between her and Pete Dunne. Now Toni Storm...man she is easy on the eyes with her beauiful pear shape bottom!

I mean Noam Dar, Jinny, Ashton Smith, and Amir Jordan don't really follow those tropes I feel.

I think the women's roster stands out the best as far as looks and characters that really contrast one another. Jinny is my top favorite but I love Isla Dawn too.

Rhea Ripley looks nothing like Pete Dunne.
Anyone comparing the two are either blind, or just stupid.

If we start this, should we say that the mexican luchadores are all lookalike because of the plenty of masks? And what about the japanese one? In my opinion it's a matter of "getting used to" a certain view. Plus, it was the first Takeover UK, i saw that as a start, not an arrival.
