I've ordered most of the 35 (or so) that I've got with the FX printing. And I've yet to have a problem. Sure some are better than others, but the same could be said about the old way as well.

I hate the new FX. They look terrible. Entrance Greats Goldberg looks like a drag queen with a beard. It is not good. And if you look closely, it blurs and messes with your eyes. I've seen a GM Kurt Angle that had his eye paint sprayed next to his eye. It completely missed the eye mold. The most I ever saw before were wonky pupils, never entire eyes that missed the socket completely. by no means am I disagreeing or arguing but it reminded me of this which always makes me lol "Heyyy you guyyyys!" lol

So hang on a minute, we are all finding problems with every FX scan we come across, you have 35 (or so) without any problems? Yeaaaaaah right! Id love to see photos of those figures.

What kind of a reasonable, even-handed answer is that? Around here you're supposed to pick a side and shoot flaming arrows at anyone who has a different opinion from you lol

I posted it in reply to the guy who said he never saw paint apps miss the eye sockets on pre-True FX figures and it immediately reminded me of that Nakamura monstrosity.

None of my FX figures have had issues. Maybe something very minor in facial hair or something, but nothing even slightly out of place as far as something like that Nakamura.

Mattel have went above and beyond when it comes to wrestling figures. They're the best there is. But the mentality that they can do no wrong that some share on here is a little far-fetched, as this picture proves. It seems like they're learning from their mistakes though, as QC is getting better in some aspects, albeit slowly but surely.

This was before TrueFX though, right? yes Lol, what a turn of events. "Look how bad true FX is, so awful". And then this example wasn't even true FX. By the way, is true FX only the eye prints or the whole face including face structure/ sculpture?

Lol, what a turn of events. "Look how bad true FX is, so awful". And then this example wasn't even true FX. Nor was it supposed to be lol. I made it extremely clear in my initial post (and a recent reply in this very thread) I was replying to someone who claimed to have never seen paint apps miss the eye sockets on pre-TrueFX figs. Never was I trying to portray this is an example of bad TrueFX.

I'm not a fan of the True FX either. I only have Goldberg and he looks out of place with the fuzzy eyes. I prefer these figures to be a bit stylized, they don't have to look like real human faces to me. Look at Beefcake and Jake the Snake -- It's a somewhat cartoonish look but it still looks like them.

The forward-most Uso in your third picture looks incredible. If I had the need for a pair of Usos in my collection, I'd be running out to look for one right now after seeing that. I only own one True FX figure so far (Top Picks Balor), but the print looks spot on. I haven't seen many oddballs out in the wild, either.

I think its perfectly reasonable for me to assume you might be kidding yourself about your FX figures in a thread where everyone is coming across terrible examples of this FX and then you say you have 35 or so without any problems. Those close up ones do indeed look real nice, however if I could see the close ups of those middle/rear ones and even some of the close up ones like Roaddogg to make up my mind to see if they are as perfect as you say. And if you have swapped out the heads from basics then how exactly can we tell there isnt any problems with heads you swapped them with? But yeah, for the most part they look nice!
