I think it’s just because they don’t want Braun to job to Brock again. I was hoping for Seth Rollins to take the title off Brock at wrestlemania. But WWE tells us wins and losses don’t matter.

This should go without saying, but it all depends on what Vince wants. There was a report a month or so ago that Triple H wanted Rollins to defeat Lesnar at WM, but Vince wanted McIntyre to win the title that night. So if Vince has decided to go with his option (would that surprise anyone?) it's totally plausible Finn will win the title just to lose it to Drew at WM. Not the way I'd go, but that doesn't mean jack. I could see drew being the one to best Brock after all this time. same here....& I couldn't give one chocolate f*ck about Drew. He bores me to death....BUT he's there every week.

Hes never been interesting to me, but that seems like the logical choice after all this time. Personally id go with Rollins but it'll probably be drew.

I see Finn as a main eventer. But against Brock, where everyone seems to get squashed by simply looking at him, he has no chance (booking wise).

And that's why this chain needs to be broken....its just going around and around in circles. The ME scene wont get interesting again until Lesnar is out of it. McMahons crush on him is getting embarrassing at this point.

So we really think Finn's got a chance huh? Demon yes... Finn no it'll be the same as AJ & Bryan. It occurs to me that they really don't have time to build the Demon... But ya never know. Also occurs to me I may be having too much faith in WWE writing squad 😂😂

Finn said in an ESPN interview that he will fight Lesnar as Finn, the man. (The full quote can be found in RR thread, I posted it there)
There go our chances...

There ya have it. 18 suplexes by Lesnar. Offense by Finn to Brocks legs. Brock survives Finns finisher Hits F5 outta nowhere Cue Cole screaming like a f#ckin escaped Asylum patient about how they thought Finn had him but the beast conquered "the odds" again. YAAAAAWWWWWWWWNNNN 😴😴😴😴😴😴

No, I think they selected him because he can have a good match with Lesnar and it's a match we haven't seen before. I think they are setting up a Brock vs. Braun for Mania.

Told everything that needed to be last night. Instead of allowing Balor to bask in his "unprecedented" victory and gloat right in Vince's smug a**-face, WWE chooses to focus on the "injustice" of Braun being stripped of his #1 contendership. Right when they had the chance to set up Balor with a win last night to make him look legit, WWE chooses instead to protect Braun and prevent HIM from losing to Finn. Balor became such a freaking afterthought in the first main event program he's had since injuring his shoulder back in 2016. And for what? To build up Braun suddenly as some poor a**-man's Stone Cold. Because the only way Vince can think of building up a star is to always make him an indestructible anti-authority super megaface. The same d*mn thing that ruined Dat Dude for a wide swath of people, and what indirectly generated Braun's popularity in the first place.

If Bàlor could have a clean win against Reigns on Raw, then he can have a clean win against Strowman on Raw. It wouldn't hurt Strowman one bit, they'll just charge him up again next week, have him tip over the empire state building, and then his might will be restored.

Finn could win the title and all... but honestly, I'd like to see Demon Balor vs Taker at Wrestlemania... If Taker wrestles it's more and more likely the last chance it could happen. unless Taker wrestles forever....

Going purely based off of history, I don't see how anyone could actually believe that anyone other than Roman Reigns has any chance of ever beating Brock Lesnar until it actually happens and you see it with your own eyes. They have had so, so many chances to boost a guy's career by having him beat Brock over the years and they've never done it except with Roman (I don't count Goldberg for obvious reasons). What's so different about this time that we haven't already seen a hundred times with dozens of other wrestlers over the last several years?

Well, they had the whole "we're going to change" speech, but we know that it doesn't mean anything.

I honestly don't see how anyone could dismiss it. Especially since we saw Braun is still involved, to an extent. It could play out almost exactly like Eddie vs Brock going into WM20. They could be setting up Braun vs Brock at WM for all we know. But...
while I think it's possible Finn could win, I still expect Brock to retain. Only because I think this is being done to make Seth's WM win over Brock that much more impactful. To make it look like Seth doesn't stand a chance. Seth will ultimately be the "David" they were referring to this past Monday.
