Surely the final nail in the coffin for Impact!

AEW could crap the bed. I wouldn't get too excited about it until they've been up and running for a while.
I can't imagine anything killing Impact at this point. They've faced worse than AEW and walked away... well not exactly unscathed but they did walk away.

12,000 people watched Impact last Friday. More people purchased tickets for double or nothing than watched the Impact program from their home. I feel like they really should just call it a day. As someone who was so into TNA and probably from 2005-2008 like them more than WWE it’s just sad to see them slowly fade away. LAX has pretty much made it known they are gonna be leaving when their deal is up and I would assume given the landscape many others feel the same way. It just feels like it’s time.

Impact will never die at this point. It's been reduced to just being another indy fed and they don't have the expenditure of the old TNA days so they'll probably plod along still. Very sad that the only original left is Abyss though. Having said that he's been washed up for the past 10 years or so. Nobody can take the guy seriously anymore after his character was butchered that much by different creative teams. And now Abyss is gone too.

You are spot on there. I fully agree.

I would be shocked if Impact is around this time next year. The just moved to and even smaller network and continue to lose talent(Lucha Bro's going to AEW) and haven't been able to bring in any big time named talent in the last few years.
Theirs real no star power on the roster and nobody that the none die hard fans would know on the roster baring John Morrison. When you main event scene revolves around Morrison,Moose,Cage and Cross your in a world of trouble. Those guys are talented but not going to move the needle at all.

Well if RVD stays around in IMPACT for more then just the special United We Stand show that could real help out IMPACT in terms of staying alive and also gain some viewers.Even with RVD pushing 50 he still has the interest of the fans and from the little bits I've seen of him over the last few years can still go at a decent level.

I think Impact can survive. They certainly need to be on a better network. But I believe they've locked down enough talent with contract extensions to folks like Sami Callihan & Tessa Blanchard... Maybe that might be enough to keep the Impact alive...
