If Warrior hadnt been fired, would Vince have brought back Hogan? At least at the time he did?
I honestly cant really find a place for Warrior or Macho Man at the time after SS92. Maybe if Vince had both (or all three including Hogan) big stars at the time, perhaps he doesnt go with Yoko as the "monster heel" at the time and we see that Bret/Warrior match at the Rumble or even Mania 9? Maybe its the Mega Powers vs Money Inc instead? Or Warrior/Yoko at WM9?
Truth be told, I dont think Hogan returns if he isnt promised the belt, so that probably throws the biggest monkey wrench into plans.
Most logically, The Mega Maniacs probably face Money Inc at WM9 and everything else goes down as it did.

In kayfabe I can see them going the route of how Warrior won the match at SSlam by countout but didn't win the belt so they can say how he's due a rematch for it. Bret/Warrior man talk about a contrast of styles. Would've been interesting to say the least.

Warrior would probably be in the Rumble to add more star power to the match.
Somewhere during the match the Ultimate Maniacs would EXPLODE, somehow costing each other the match.
WM 9 would be Warrior vs Savage 2, since Macho was free that night, and the match would add a lot to the show.
Macho would win at WM 9 via roll up or something out smarting Warrior, they would be 1 - 1 at the show of shows.
