Hi, just curious to hear from all the Hasbro collectors in Australia during the 1990's about what you were able to find as I was always under the impression that some series' made it here and others didn't. Here's what I was able to find:
- Series 1 (didn't start collecting until Series 2 so never saw these in store, although found some loose at swap meets so assuming they were released in Australia) - Series 2 and Tag Teams (were at Toyworld in 1991/92) - Series 3 (were at Toyworld / Toy Kingdom in 1992 - only found Warrior once and that was at Safeway Supermarket!!!) - Series 4 and Tag Teams (not released?) - Series 5 (stopped searching for a while and found these at Toys 'r Us in late 1994) - Series 6 (not released?) - Series 7 (not released?) - Series 8 (found with Series 5 at Toys 'r Us in late 1994) - Series 9 (found with Series 5 at Toys 'r Us in late 1994) - Series 10 (not released?) - Series 11 (were at Toys 'r Us in early 1995)
Please share your memories!

I moved here from England in August 91 and I can remember most of what I had. That said at least one series I got before I moved, possibly more. I’m certain I got the rockers in England so that might help with the timeline.
I know I had later figs in Australia as I had the Gunn’s, 123 kid, borga and I think Adam bomb.
The ones in between I had off my head were mr perfect blue, tornado, yoko, disasters, doink, bam bam, all the Hogan’s bar mail away, all 3 warriors, one taker, one Bret, steiners. I had loads more but I’m drawing a blank, if this helps at all. Maybe it doesn’t haha.

Based in Brisbane and started collecting at the tail end of Series one.
Series 1 - Only saw at Target Series 2 - Target, Big W, Woolworths, Venture and Toyworld Tag Teams - Toyworld Series 3 - Toyworld Series 4 - Not available Series 5 - Toys R Us Series 6 - Not available Series 7 - Not available Series 8 - Kmart Series 9 - Kmart Series 10 - Not available Series 11 - Kmart
Never saw the rings but did find the mini figures at Toyworld. Sorry don't have a clear recollection of dates but a lot of my original cards still have the price tags on them which did help with list above. The woolworths was an odd one but they had a series 2 ted dibiase hanging on the shelf in their tiny toy section for what seemed like forever.

My mum went on a massive figure hunt for what must have been my 11th birthday (maybe 12th). She found Typhoon, Hogan, Hammer & Texas Tornado. That’s all she could find. We didn’t have much money growing up, but my mum rocked and thats what she managed to afford and find for that birthday. I believe they mostly came from Toyworld.

In Sydney - Toyworld and Uncle Pete’s.
Both also stocked LJN figures including Bendies and Thumb wrestlers. I distinctly remember the figures being next to the scalextric sets. I bought the majority of my Hasbro’s from Toyword.
A good day out was playing Street Fighter II at the local arcade, before heading to Toyworld and Games Wizards to see if there were any new Hasbro figures or SNES games out.
