Started in Jan 2001 and never stopped Wow WWE and wrestling started in 2001? I know I’m coming off as a d bag but it’s a pet peeve of mine when someone says something is their favorite in the history of said thing when there’s no way they’ve seen everything in it history. Don’t take it personal. Lol man I said it's my personal favorite in history, I've watched tons of other stuff on the network, but there's no man alive who can say they've seen the entire history of wrestling. In the history of my fanship, Gargano vs Ciampa tops the list.

Yes I’m aware. When you watch every minute of wwe footage that exists, come back to me with your all time lists 🙄

Why are we giving someone crap for having a FAVORITE storyline? They didn’t say they thought it was the best in wrestling history, they said it’s their favorite. I doubt there’s many people who have a favorite storyline that happened during a time they weren’t watching the product.
I started watching at the end of 2002. I don’t know if I can say it’s my favorite, but it’s up there. Also has to contend with Jericho/HBK in 2008 and probably the 4 year Mania run for Taker against HHH and HBK.

I'd personally say it's up there in the top feud's of all time. As a few have pointed out in this thread, basically the only recent feud that even compares was Jericho/HBK, and that lasted less than a year, and was a decade ago at that. It's obviously hard to keep something interesting and have fan's invested for a good period of time in today's WWE landscape. There's so much time to fill, and so much content constantly flowing from all walks of media, that to keep a program fresh is a miracle, as opposed to the "good 'ol days" when they could ride it out for any length of time and thing's still felt special. I suppose that's what makes this feud and NXT as a whole so intriguing; they have the room and time to let thing's play out. It doesn't hurt that Ciampa and Gargano are two ofthe best in the business either.
The question is, will people still be talking about this in 10 years in the same regard as HBK/Jericho?

I know they don't release DVD's much anymore, but I'd love to see them do a entire feud recap special on the Network. Make it like a documentary with backstage interviews with everyone involved and other NXT talent.

I know I already commented- but I want to add on. I think the storytelling has been good- but, the story seems so repetitive. Their first two matches were 5* classics but the Last Man Standing match was pretty much a spot-fest (not saying it wasn't a good match). I think they should've spaced out the matches better and not crammed them so far between. I hope they conclude inside Hell in a Cell.

Meh it's ok. Ciampa is the best part of it. Shame he will have to go to 205 live along with gargano.
