- RAW ending in a melee with the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his Elimination Chamber opponents the WWE Intercontinental Champion Lashley, Strowman, Owens, Balor and Ambrose was definitely expected. What would have made it even more special is seeing the 2019 Royal Rumble Match winner Drew McIntyre come out and watch all of it happen because Drew basically will face whoever walks out of that Chamber the WWE Universal Champion. I don't think it will really matter to Drew McIntyre who he faces at WrestleMania 35. Whoever walks out of that Chamber as champion is gonna be face to face with McIntyre or McIntyre could turn his attention to the WWE Champion over on Smackdown Live that being Daniel Bryan or whoever walks out of the Smackdown Chamber as Champion.
- Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan of Riott Squad qualify for the Elimination Chamber for the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Championships by beating the team of Alexa Bliss and Lacey Evans which to me is shocking. What is even more shocking than that is seeing Alexa Bliss leave Lacey Evans high and dry and not even attempt to save Lacey from certain doom. I wonder if by doing that if that was a Lacey Evans babyface turn? Or if it was an Alexa Bliss babyface turn? Or will it be a Heel vs Heel feud between Lacey and Alexa?
- Drew McIntyre gains even more momentum heading into the Elimination Chamber PPV as he beats his former running buddy in 3MB...The Modern Day Maharaja Jinder Mahal...that is another shocking win for McIntyre. I mean he keeps winning and winning no matter who the opponent is but then he gets attacked post-match by his Elimination Chamber opponent Seth Rollins but McIntyre going off in retreat...it just means that whatever match they were going to have at Elimination Chamber...that No Holds Barred Match is gonna be even more brutal now.
- Kurt Angle vs Lars Sullivan...if that match happens Angle is gonna get demolished - Braun Strowman squashing Lio Rush in a pure Squash match...that was to be expected I mean come on look at how huge Braun is compared to Lio Rush. Yeah Lio Rush may have speed on his side but Braun Strowman clearly has the power game in his arsenal which he used that to completely destroy Lio Rush like it was not even close to be considered a match. Strowman just basically sent a message to all the opposition who will be in the Chamber and honestly Strowman has to be the odds on favorite to walk out of the Chamber as the new WWE Universal Champion.
- I wonder who will be the final team to qualify for the Women's Tag Team Chamber? It has to be a Smackdown women's tag team so it will most likely end up being Peyton Royce and Billie Kay
- The Revival get yet another opportunity at the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships by beating Hawkins & Ryder, B-Team and Heavy Machinery to get this opportunity but I will say The Revival have had how many title shots? And how many times have they come up short? So why should Elimination Chamber be any different?
- I think we get EC3 vs Elias at Elimination Chamber

February 12, 2019 from The Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio After the Smackdown Live opening video, the voice of Tom Phillips welcomes everyone to the show from inside of The Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio alongside Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. The theme music of Smackdown Women's Champion Asuka hits and 'The Empress of Tomorrow' proceeds to make her way down to ringside as Phillips shows replays from last week where Mandy Rose abandoned Sonya Deville in their Elimination Chamber qualifier against Naomi and Carmella, telling Stephanie McMahon she wanted a shot at the Smackdown Women's Championship - not the newly created tag team titles. McMahon would give her the opportunity tonight, but she must defeat her former partner - Sonya Deville.
Smackdown Women's Championship Number One Contender's Match: Mandy Rose defeats Sonya Deville The bell rings and the two get right in to each other's faces, not throwing any shots at each other. Eventually, however, Rose and Deville each grow smiles on their faces with the latter laying down on the mat. "What is going on?" Asks Saxton. Rose then drops down and hooks the leg, the referee appearing confused but dropping down and counting the one, two, three.
As everyone is questioning what in the world is going on, Rose and Deville get to their feet together and raise their arms up. Asuka stands from her seat at ringside and stares the two down, Rose and Deville turning their attention to the champion and sliding out of the ring to confront her. Asuka looks between the two women and then begins firing off strikes only to be double teamed off of it. Rose and Deville bring the champion in to the ring, Deville with a Square-Up Kick followed by the Bed of Roses from the new number one contender. The duo stand tall over Asuka together, all smiles before they leave the ring.
Seen walking backstage and laughing after a break is Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville when they area approached by Dasha Fuentes, asking what just happened out there. "You really thought that the fire and desire would break up?" Deville asks with a laugh, Rose saying they don't just look and act like winners - they think like winners. "We can walk in and claim the Women's Tag Team Championship any time we please..." Sonya says that Mandy's hot streak needs this opportunity at the Smackdown Women's Championship and this Sunday she's going to claim that title for herself. The two then proudly walk off together.
Singles Match: Killian Dain (w/Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe) defeats Smackdown Tag Team Champion The Miz (w/Smackdown Tag Team Champion Shane McMahon) Miz looks to outsmart the powerful Dain and tries to finish the match quick on multiple occasions but is unable to put Dain away. Young and Wolfe attempt to get involved so McMahon comes over to get in their faces. With Miz distracted by Shane being backed down on the outside, he turns in to a running crossbody from Dain followed by Ulster Plantation for the pinfall.
Arriving after the break is Becky Lynch to a big ovation from the crowd and 'The Man' marches her way down to the ring, taking a microphone from ringside as she says that this Sunday she has the opportunity to make history. "But I'd be lying if I didn't say I have something else on my mind..." She looks behind her at the WrestleMania logo hanging in the distance. She points to the sign and says that she wants Ronda Rousey on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All' and it is all she can think about. "But the powers that be say that if I decide to venture over to Monday Night Raw like I did a few weeks ago... I'll never get that opportunity... ever." She says that it is strange because she has to team with Charlotte Flair this Sunday and as much as she wants to become one half of the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, she's going to be looking at Charlotte and knowing that she could be living her dream at WrestleMania. "Charlotte can face Ronda at WrestleMania because she won the Women's Royal Rumble. Charlotte can be doing what I want nothing more than to do and it is eating away at me every single day."
This brings out Charlotte Flair herself, 'The Queen' heading down and in to the ring and telling Lynch very quickly that she hasn't made a decision about WrestleMania yet. "My focus, unlike you right now, Becky, is on this Sunday night. You need to get your head in the game! I understand you're upset and I understand how badly you want that match with Ronda you were robbed of but it's not just about you and it's not about that right now..." Lynch gets up in Flair's face and says that unlike Flair, she hasn't had her shot at Ronda and unlike Flair, she knows that she can get the job done. "What did I just say?!" Charlotte responds angrily. "I haven't even made up my mind... and you need to think about this Sunday, not that Sunday!" Before things can escalate any more, The IIconics arrive and say that this is familiar sight. Royce says that it is a shame that a lack of a true team like Lynch and Flair has the chance at becoming the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions this Sunday but a real team like The IIconics do not. Flair snaps back that maybe they should have won their match a couple of weeks ago and qualified. "That's why we're out here, actually!" Kay yells back. She clears her throat and calms down a bit with the help of Royce, explaining that they've been given a rematch tonight and if they win they get that final spot at Elimination Chamber. "That's if the two of you can stop being such drama queens and pull yourselves together." Lynch stops Flair from speaking and says that she's in the mood to kick some ass, so she tells them to get down to the ring!
If The IIconics Win, They Enter the Women's Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber Match: The IIconics defeat Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair via disqualification A rematch from two weeks ago, Royce and Kay use multiple double teams to combat Lynch and Flair. After Royce takes Lynch off the apron and hurls her in to the steel steps, she enters the ring with Kay and the two double team Flair in the corner. The referee tries to break it up but before he can even get far in his count to get Royce out of the ring, Lynch comes in to the ring from behind with a steel chair and strikes Kay in the back - prompting the official to call for the DQ!
Lynch hits Royce with the chair as well and chases The IIconics from the ring, the referee stepping in and attempting to take the chair away. Lynch tugs it hard back, however, and ends up unintentionally hitting Flair in the back! "Oh no!" Says Phillips. Lynch stands over Flair and drops the chair down, pulling at her hair in frustration. Instead of checking on Charlotte, however, she instead leaves the ring and marches toward the back.
Walking through the back after the break is Becky Lynch, still looking angry after what just happened a few minutes ago. She ends up being approached by Stephanie McMahon, whom asks what is wrong with her. "Do you realize what you have on the line this Sunday? Do you realize how big of a deal it would be to become one of the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions?!" Stephanie says that Becky needs to harness her aggression and put it in to the Elimination Chamber match. Lynch says that she'll do what she has to do this Sunday but she still wants Ronda Rousey. "But you people are afraid that I'll expose her, aren't you?" McMahon says that Lynch hasn't earned that opportunity, that's why, nothing else. "Remember what we told you... stay where you belong and do what you're supposed to do." Stephanie pats Becky on the shoulder and continues on her way while Lynch doesn't look pleased.
Transitioning elsewhere backstage, The New Day and The Usos are seen talking to each other with Woods getting hyped up for his upcoming fatal four way match. The five stop their talking, however, when Lars Sullivan walks by. 'The Freak' looks around at everyone and gets closest to Big E. With a scowl, Sullivan continues on his way. The New Day and Usos all appear very confused, as has everyone else with Sullivan, about what just happened. The New Day share a handshake and hug with Jimmy and Jey before walking away as Woods competes in a United States Championship Number One Contender's Match next.
United States Championship Number One Contenders Fatal Four Way Match: Samoa Joe defeats Rey Mysterio, Shinsuke Nakamura and Xavier Woods (w/Big E and Kofi Kingston) A hectic, wild battle with a big opportunity on the line, Mysterio eventually ends up hitting Nakamura with the 619 and Woods delivers a springboard elbow. Joe returns to the ring after having taken out both Big E and Kingston on the outside, tossing Woods in to the ring post as Mysterio hits a springboard splash on Nakamura, Joe dragging Mysterio off of Shinsuke's body from behind and placing him in the Coquina Clutch! Mysterio struggles mightily in the hold as Joe wrenches back and forth, refusing to let up until Mysterio eventually stops moving and passes out - giving Joe the technical submission victory.
Walking backstage after a break is Rusev and Lana, the United States Champion saying how he is glad Samoa Joe is his challenger this Sunday because of what he did a couple of weeks ago. "And it will be a great Rusev Day when I defeat him!" Lana lets out a shriek, however, as from behind comes Samoa Joe to lock Rusev in the Coquina Clutch! Rusev does his best to push Joe back against the wall in order to not be brought down to the floor. Officials and referees arrive on to the scene to try and break things up, forcing Joe off and pulling him away. "YOU'RE NOT ESCAPING ME THIS SUNDAY, RUSEV!" Yells the new number one contender as he is forced down the hallway, Rusev holding his throat from a knee as Lana checks on him.
Seen heading toward the ring for the upcoming main event is WWE Champion Daniel Bryan when he is approached by Dasha Fuentes, whom excuses herself and asks if he is feeling any bit nervous going in to this Sunday after being defeated by Jeff Hardy last week. "Dasha, what happened last week was a travesty... an abomination, embarrassing... and most importantly it was a fluke." He says that he is not nervous because he is 'The Planet's Champion' and he is not going to let this planet down by letting a threat to the greater good of society like Jeff Hardy win this Sunday, let alone any of the other challengers. "None of them are the role models that I am! None of them are the picture perfect example of what a champion should be like Daniel Bryan... I will not let my planet down..." He then continues on his way for the upcoming six man tag team match.
Six Man Tag Team Match: AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy and Mustafa Ali defeat Andrade, WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton (w/Zelina Vega) In a lengthy, competitive contest with each superstar getting their time to shine, things escalate as Orton tags himself in as Andrade hits an inverted tornado DDT from the top rope on Hardy, 'The Viper' coming in and preparing for the RKO only for Bryan to tag himself instead. The three begin to argue back and forth with Andrade being shoved by Bryan and deciding to step through the ropes and walk away with Vega! As Bryan yells for Andrade to come back, Orton spins the WWE Champion around and plants him with the RKO! He leaves the ring as well, following Andrade up the ramp. With Bryan struggling to get back to his feet, he does so in to a Phenomenal Forearm from Styles, the 054 from Ali and lastly a Swanton Bomb from Hardy that leads to the cover and the three count.
The Huntington Center is joyful as Hardy gets back to his feet, having his arms raised with Ali and Styles. "For the second week in a row, Jeff Hardy has pinned Daniel Bryan..." Says Saxton. "And the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan seems to be public enemy number one for all five of his opponents this Sunday!" As the referee retrieves the WWE Championship belt, Styles takes it away from it and gazes in to it. Ali takes it out of Styles' hands and stares in to it himself, Hardy then also grabbing at the belt. The three have a bit of a tug of war with it, Bryan looking on from the apron and shouting that championship is his! Styles runs up and knocks Bryan down with a shot to the face with the belt before tossing it over the ropes at him. Suddenly, from behind, Andrade returns to the ring and plants Ali with the Hammerlock DDT! Hardy and Andrade proceed to go at it with Styles coming in to the fold, Hardy eventually with a Twist of Fate to Andrade only for Orton to come back in to the ring and deliver an RKO out of nowhere to 'The Charismatic Enigma'! Orton gets back up with a smile but turns right in to the Phenomenal Forearm from Styles, whom gets right back up and holds his arms out with a scowl - looking down at all five of his opponents for this Sunday. With Styles standing tall, Phillips signs things off from commentary as Smackdown Live concludes.

- We were definitely cheated out of a #1 Contender's Match here and why? Sonya Deville just lays down in the ring for Mandy Rose and Mandy just pins her 1...2...3 right in the middle of the ring. I just don't understand this especially given what happened last week on Smackdown Live when these 2 were in a Women's Tag Team Championship qualifier and Mandy just left Sonya high and dry during that match. However, then fast forward to this week and Sonya just lets Mandy pin her. They don't even touch each other but they just decide to fool everyone and Mandy wins the match just like that to face Asuka for the Smackdown Women's Championship at Elimination Chamber...that just shocks me.
- However, what didn't shock me is what happened after the match and the 2 of them attack Asuka post-match as well as leave together. It seems Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are still tight or so it seems. However, with Mandy Rose becoming #1 Contender for that title I think we could see a brand new WWE Smackdown Women's Champion at Elimination Chamber especially if she has Sonya Deville in her corner.
- One half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon essentially just cost the other half of the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Miz a match against Sanity's Killian Dain. I mean Shane did try to even the odds but a lot of good that did because Miz was distracted and Dain took advantage to get the win. I mean Sanity do have the numbers advantage and they took full advantage of that. However, I wonder if that will just be the catalyst for Miz to turn back heel and turn on Shane?
- Something tells me that Becky Lynch could care less about the Women's Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber because what she really wants is the RAW Women's Championship namely what she wants is Ronda Rousey but the thing is is that Becky didn't win the Royal Rumble Match at all did she? Charlotte Flair did and Charlotte is in the main event of Mania. She earned that right by winning the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble Match whereas Becky she actually could have had a chance to main event Mania had she not lost her title which she did. Charlotte is at least putting her pride aside to at least team up with Becky inside that Chamber but something tells me that at Elimination Chamber in the Women's Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber Becky will turn on Charlotte because she is seemingly obsessed with Ronda Rousey. However, seeing the IIconics interrupt them in this segment was definitely unexpected.
- The IIconics qualifying for the Chamber by beating Becky and Charlotte in a Tag Team Match technically by DQ because Becky is a hot head and lost it by hitting both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce with a Steel Chair after she accidentally hit Charlotte with the chair is very telling. I mean Becky does what she wants when she wants and to whoever she wants to do it too. I mean Becky could care less about the match because she is all about herself at the end of the day and just for that I can see Charlotte instead being the one to turn on Becky this time inside the Chamber.
- Just for that, I am surprised Becky didn't attack Stephanie McMahon especially with Becky being such a damn hothead. I am glad that Stephanie at least put Becky in check because she sure as hell needed it.
- What is Lars Sullivan's problem? I mean seriously? He just stalks everyone backstage and he doesn't even do anything but just scowl and growl at people like what is this leading to seriously?
- Samoa Joe becoming #1 Contender for the WWE United States Championship by beating Rey Mysterio, Shinsuke Nakamura and New Day member Xavier Woods in a Fatal 4 Way is definitely not shocking or surprising given Joe's recent rivalry with Rusev the WWE United States Champion. It was only a matter of time before these 2 would cross paths so with Joe winning this match it was more or less inevitable. Notice how ever since Joe came from TNA and then he was in NXT he was a Champion there but then as soon as he gets to the main roster here in WWE he hasn't even won singles gold. Just let that sink in.
- Joe attacking Rusev post-match and then him & Rusev going back and forth with one another was expected. It just further builds to their match for that WWE United States Championship. I mean more or less the US Title has become nothing more than an afterthought no matter who holds the title but here is hoping that if Joe wins that title he at least makes it more relevant considering the last time the WWE United States Championship was ever relevant was when AJ Styles was champion of that belt.
- Daniel Bryan being the WWE Champion...his reign is in serious jeopardy considering he is defending that title against 5 other guys inside that Chamber. Not to mention luck of the draw if Bryan starts the Chamber match first his likelihood of staying champion doesn't look too good. Not to mention also he is a marked man in that Chamber as well because everyone in that Chamber hates Bryan's guts and wants him bad in the worst way. Not to mention in the main event his partners Orton and Andrade leaving Bryan to fend for himself makes sense. The face tag team of Styles, Hardy and Ali beating the heel tag team of Bryan, Orton and Andrade comes as no surprise especially when Bryan was basically left to fend for himself. Brawl ensuing post-match with all 6 guys makes sense considering all are in that Chamber Match and whoever wins goes into Mania as WWE Champion. Well there is one more stop before Mania and that is Fast Lane.
- Either way I can't wait until Elimination Chamber but what would have made Smackdown Live even more better is if Drew McIntyre the Royal Rumble Match winner showed up while this melee was happening and he basically just watched it happen. That would have made it all the more exciting because McIntyre could very well jump over to Smackdown Live and this would have been the perfect opportunity for him to basically tease the Smackdown Chamber opponents because McIntyre could decide to come for any one of them.
