Chase Field has a retractable roof, and even if it didn't, the median January temperature in Phoenix is 56 degrees Fahrenheit. Gillette Stadium does not have a retractable roof. The median temperature in Foxboro, MA for January is somewhere around 36 degrees Fahrenheit. As someone who is about to willingly sit in Met Life stadium for several hours in April, the idea of a Royal Rumble at Gillette is laughably bad. not to mention it would possibly inevitably interfere with patriots playoffs Fixed. Maybe it will be warm that day. April has a mix of hot and cold days. I remember one year it was like 90 degrees in April and then the next day was 55 lol. With any luck...April, even early, is considerably less of a gamble than January/February, at any rate. Even a mild day into a cool night would be perfectly tolerable...20+ years in New England has chilled my blood to a clear 40-ish degree temp being perfectly comfortable with the right amount of prepared attire.

Are we completely sure that next year is the 2020 PPV and we're not going to like slip into a worm hole and it be like the 2165 Royal Rumble?

Who else knew who OP was just by the thread title/poll? We need some sort of survey that people take before they post threads. Such as is this a stupid thread idea? Are you a robot? Is this thread going to be mocked? Who won the 1972 NCAA championship? Does spaghetti taste better on day two?

These options weren’t well thought out with numerous outdoor locations in cold cities in January.

I'd like them to go back to Safeco Field in some capacity, I loved that stadium.

I'd like them to go back to Safeco Field in some capacity, I loved that stadium. I know I did too especially when Mania 19 was hosted there so if they went back there for Royal Rumble...it would be nothing short of awesome

Antarctica isn't on the list and it's cold there in January. That's my pick

I'd rather have it be back at Madison Square Garden.

Philadelphia. I mean, since they refuse to give us a WrestleMania, god only knows why, as a big market for pro wrestling, Philadelphia should have a big PPV every year. Rumble is fitting. I mean, LA got SummerSlam like 8 years in a row, New York just had it for 4 consecutive. Mania 15 was in Philly.

I'd bet it's Houston (Minute Maid Park)

The Kingdom of Saudi Ara...No.
But honestly, i could care less where the Rumble is, just as long as long as the show is good and the crowd is into it. From that list though, i'll just say Ford Field in Detroit because i'm biased towards WrestleMania 23 (My favourite PPV of all time)

Everyone knows that's what I meant. Since XV, they've been to: California [16, 21, 31]. Texas [17, 25, 32]. Canada. Seattle f****** Washington. New York City. Chicago. Detroit. Orlando [24 and 33]. Arizona. Atlanta. Miami. New Jersey [29 and soon 35]. New Orleans [30 and 34]. It's time. It can be at Lincoln Financial Field. That's easily 70K people, since they wanna cram as many people in one place as possible. Huge market for wrestling and wrestling history. Central to NY, Ohio, and southern states like MD, VA even.
