I didn't follow WWE after about late 99/early 2000. I want to go back and watch some of his classics. Anyone have like a top 5 list? WWE only. No TNA or Impact.

In no particular order:
vs. Chris Benoit at Royal Rumble 2003
vs. Undertaker at No Way Out 2006
vs. Brock Lesnar (Iron Man match) at SmackDown 2003
vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21
vs. Shane McMahon at King of the Ring 2001
There are loads more but those are 5 that came to mind straight away.

I honestly don't think he ever had a bad match in his prime, but- I'd suggest these:

I wouldn't sleep on his TNA run. Joe, AJ, Sting, Mr. Anderson, Jeff Hardy, Desmond Wolfe, he even had a great match with Jarrett at Genesis 09. He had some seriously awesome matches in TNA.

Is this limited to WWE? Because he had classics in TNA also.

I can understand why you would say this but you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't eventually check out his TNA work too. Kurt still in his prime vs Samoa Joe (except when he used the MMA gimmick) are must see. As for WWE matches, I'm in the "I don't think he had a bad match" club but the steel cage match vs Benoit, iron man match vs Brock Lesnar, and WM match vs HBK immediately come to mind. |

His matches with HBK at WM21 and Undertaker at No Way Out 2006 are two of my favorite all-time matches. Both are just incredible.
I see the note, but I also loved his match with Jeff Hardy at TNA No Surrender 2010! That match is INSANE! Jeff going for a swanton off the top to the outside and Kurt just eats the whole thing is NUTS, plus Jeff just sits in the ankle lock for minutes and seems like hours. Such an underrated match because of the era!

Especially their 2001 - 2003 stuff.
Wrestlemania X-7, Backlash 30 minute iron man match, Insurrextion 2/3 falls match, Judgment Day ladder match, Raw steel cage match, Unforgiven 2002, Royal Rumble 2003, all good stuff!

People already covered his best matches in WWE. My favorite match was against Shawn Michaels at WM21 them meeting for the 1st time ever is a must see. He had a lot of great matches in TNA as well, I would definitely check those out if you can. A lot of great matches against Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Amazing Red, Jeff Jarrett, Bobby Roode all in their prime.
