I never cared for the Hardcore belt design. I know the look fit the division as a whole but still I thought it was horrible. WCW's Hardcore belt design was way better IMO. This? Or this? The bottom pic.

A lot of the newer belts just look cheap for some reason. Almost like they lack any kind of aura or prestige.

What joke Tag Titles look like... Yep, the ones from the 80s and 90s is definitely the best (though I may be biased since those were the tag titles team were wearing when I got into wrestling). The penny titles just look ridiculous. Even the tag titles from the 2000s were terrible (though they tried to replicate the 80s/90s look):

In my opinion, the worst Championship Title Belt designs are the WWE Hardcore Championship Title Belt and the nWo World Heavyweight Championship Title Belt. Ironically, the majority of fans feel that the Winged Eagle Belt and the Big Gold Belt are 2 of the most prestigious and beautiful designs in history. Destroying and / or desecrating a Championship Title Belt, although works for the gimmicks they were going for, is sacrilegious.

Just to make things clear, the nWo is my second favorite Stable of all time, 2nd only to the Horsemen. The Big Gold Belt is my second favorite design of all time, 2nd only to the Undisputed WWE Championship Title Belt. That being said, the nWo World Heavyweight Championship Title Belt is the 2nd worst design of all time, 2nd only to the WWE Hardcore Championship Title Belt.

The Rocks custom world title. So glad this never made it to TV. Looks silly. I don't like Austin's either. They both look so cheap.

Definitely the spinners(should have been Cena specific) and the Big Green title. I actually don't mind Stone Cold's belt.

I always dug the Spinner title, I don't know why. I hate all the variations of the WWE Championship from 2013 on. The WWE Tag Team Championships 2010-2016, looked like horrible. The Raw ones look nice, but I don't dig the SmackDown ones. I never was to much of fan of the European Championship or the Divas Championship. The Universal Title, I like the red strap but other then that I can't stand it. My favorite era of belts would most likely be 2003-2005.

Anyone know why the WWF went through so many different designs for the World Title in the early 80s? Hogan had 2 or 3 different versions, and Backlund had a few himself. Did they keep losing them or something?

Did they keep losing them or something? Maybe that or they wanted to switch it up. (The Hogan mystery belt was to honor his title reign so maybe itβs the same idea with the others?)
