In your opinion what is the worst WWE Championship designs? This can be either the World Heavyweight or the IC title or any title the WWE had that you think is bad. (It has to be from the past not any thing current.)  This is the belt Bruno won in 1963 and boy does it look like it came from the 60’s. Something about the strap just doesn’t feel right, plus the side plates have two guys kissing for some reason.  Pedro Morales’ belt from the 70’s it looks like a bad create a belt from the WWE games, it’s pathetic.  This is just a regular belt with a huge @$$ center plate on it, did you even try  This is the WWF North American Championship and only had 3 champions and was quickly retired 2 years after it was introduced, and I can see why. It so ugly to me, maybe it’s the camera angle but the color turns me off this belt.  I love Hogan but why this? Appearantly this was made to honor Hulk’s 3 year reign as champ and boy they could’ve done better. This didn’t even make it onto TV, Hogan only wore this for a while before going back to the 86 belt.  How the hell did you make a belt that’s worse looking than a smashed up winged eagle belt? Seriously what were they thinking? (Edit: gonna keep editing this post; if i’m allowed to do so) well there are some of mine but what are your’s? North American title was replaced with the IC title after Patterson "won" a match to bring the South American "title" to New York. |

There was this weird period in the early 80's where the WWF for some reason went from classy, really detailed Belts to ones where they looked like someone took the metal pieces of award plaques and bolted them on leather straps. i'm not sure what was going on there, but they definitely looked cheaper...The Belts immediately preceding them looked a 100 times better, and they would be followed by some of the most classic designs in Championship Belt history. But this period, it was like Vince said "Get me something that doesn't cost a lot!"    Backlund's '83 belt was just fine, and it worked with the Sheik and looks great when Hulk got the belt (of course the replacement was better). Vince wanted to get rid of the old late 70s belt that Bruno/Superstar had because it was his company now and Superstar was brought back in to destroy it. |

The spinner title to me was the absolute s***s. Yes the titles in the OP may technically be “uglier” but the spinner title was an absolute joke and spit on everyone who held it before. If it was just Cena’s belt that’s one thing but it was used as THE MAIN TITLE for nearly a decade. I’d honestly take that ugly “Hogan Belt” in the OP over that spinner monstrosity. Yeah. I agree, had it been only used when Cena had the title it would’ve been fine but as the main? Yeah no. Maybe thats why the Undertaker never participated in a feud for that title or ever won that title. |
