I hope the figure comes out still. I would say 50/50 at this point. I really like his last basic but man I want that elite! His non-NXT basic fig wasn't bad. Wasn't a fan of that rounded head scan that they used on the Target NXT figs, and that they appear to be using on the Elite. Though it seems to look a little better with the faceprint tech. |

Numerous dirtsheets are reporting Hideo Itami’s finishing up with WWE following the recent episode of 205 Live. Not looking good for his NXT Takeover elite  Mattel takes over a year to get a new figure of someone who just signed with wwe. That same logic works in reverse even if a wrestler quits or gets fired. Only if they did something criminal or really bad pr wise like Hogan will they pull a figure. The Jeff hardy elite 1 was pulled as well because of potential criminal stuff and him no longer working there at the time. Bottom line is the nxt elite hideo is still coming out because they probably already manufactured his run of figures in the series/set. People need to stop freaking out every time someone quits or gets fired in wwe. |

Itami is still great and was extremely underutilized in the WWE.

i hope they take him off the series to put someone like : Richochet, MAtt Riddle or Kairi Sane Why the  would you want one of them in those series when we don't get the series in Canada? Are you just looking for a reason to complain? |

Hush. I need an officially released KENTA figure. If this makes him harder to get I'll be super mad. They've made 2. Maybe you collect only elites, but that's you limiting yourself, not Mattel. Buy the basic and spare us all the next Tito. Yes I meant to say elite. I bought his Forst basic. Still need an elite. |

They've made 2. Maybe you collect only elites, but that's you limiting yourself, not Mattel. Buy the basic and spare us all the next Tito. What's it to you, just because you don't want him? They've already made the fig, he's boxed, and ready to ship. At this point they'll need to move the inventory regardless, and they're not going to rush another character for the sake of it. Love Hideo, would be more than happy to buy a few for customizing. Just as you don't care how I feel, I don't care what you want either. You're lucky someone at Mattel has a hard on for him. They've made him twice, he's warmed twice. |

What's it to you, just because you don't want him? They've already made the fig, he's boxed, and ready to ship. At this point they'll need to move the inventory regardless, and they're not going to rush another character for the sake of it. Love Hideo, would be more than happy to buy a few for customizing. Just as you don't care how I feel, I don't care what you want either. You're lucky someone at Mattel has a hard on for him. They've made him twice, he's warmed twice. Come on. Has there been any case where a fig was released after the wrestler left the company? I'm thinking of Neville maybe but wasn't he still riding out his contract at the time? I need an elite Itami. 2nd Enzo elite (55 series, I think). |

People keep fighting against it, but the truth is that stores don't care if there are 10 Itamis on the shelf. They only see 10 wrestling figures on the shelf that nobody is buying. Retro, DM, HOF, HOC, NXT, TNF, Elites, etc. Every single one of those lines have been huggered up due to shelfwarmers that stores won't clearance out. |
