Has anyone entered the Million Dollar Challenge after beating the AJ tower in WWE 2K19? I know today is the deadline, so I thought it would be fun to see everyone's promo video that they submitted if they want to share!

I did. It took me 18 takes to film the promo I'll post mine in a bit.

Side note on Xbox it says that less than .5% got the achievement. I think I have a chance

I did some rudimentary math. If 1 million copies sold in the US (the contest is only open to US residents IIRC), and less than 0.5% beat the game, that means there's 5000 people who are eligible to win. I've watched about 40 videos. More than half fail to meet the first requirement: HAVE THE AJ STYLES VICTORY SCENE IN THE BEGINNING.
So, assuming that only 1/3 (a number I pulled out of thin air) of the entries failed to follow the rules, that means 3,334 people remain eligible. Rules say creativity is a huge point factor. Of the 40 vidoes, maybe all of but 10 were selfies. So, let's say 33% of the 3,334 aren't selfies.
You're look at 1,114 eligible videos.
I have a 4 out of 1,114 chance to go to Wrestlemania for free--they choose 4 winners to play against each other in NY during Wrestlemania. 2K pays for 2 coach tickets, hotel, 2 WM Tickets and 2 NXT Takeover tickets (maybe Raw and SDL and HOF I forget), plus give you $500 in spending, and if you survive the tournament, you play AJ the day of WM for the million.
Still don't like those odds, but the whole thing was pretty fun. Maybe once the winners are selected, if I don't win, I'll try to make this go viral.

@havoc7179
I'm at work so I can't actually listen to your video, but that looks great dude! Love the costume, chair, and the whole setup. You definitely have a shot.
I'm a little discouraged now though because mine is one of those "selfies" that you speak of. LOL I agree that the presentation could have been better, but I wasn't working with much and I think the content is still pretty solid. I will try to post it here.
Also, the contest is actually open to more than the US. There are a bunch of European countries eligible as well.

I was just going by what WWEGames on Twitter was saying and reading the rules on the instructions. Didn't mean to insult you. And now that I know its open to beyond the US, I'm going to just say "At least it was fun." It's a longshot at that point then--for both of us. Dare to dream though....

Oh I'm not insulted, I knew what I was submitting lol... I figured it was better than nothing! But I think it's still a strong promo! And the rules actually say "Originality" and "Entertainment Factor", which yeah, is basically creativity and not being boring as hell.

We should have combined forces (not sure how since we probably live far lol but maybe bounced ideas off each other).

Yeah I should have made a thread sooner so everyone could bounce ideas and help each other out! I'm in NY, so they wouldn't even need to fly me there lol

Just realized there's botch in my video. Meant to say "I'm the man who owns the land your house is built on, and I'm coming to foreclose." Instead I said "I'm coming to collect." Grr. I had it right the first take but the lighting was horrible.

Smoa Joe, you got no chance at Sacrifice. some of the towers are incredibly frustrating. I gave up two matches in on the Million Dollar Tower, because it seems like the AI is designed to be especially cheap there

I just watched it. You're a good promo too. I doubt many even entered the promo honestly. Y'all got a shot.

Y'all got a shot. in various message boards I've been on, it seems like a lot of people did not enter the contest even though they got the achievement. I saw a lot of people complain that this is probably just a stunt where some social media influencer is already pegged to win and that they wouldn't waste their time entering as a result. Seems like a lot of other people believe that. True or not I wonder how many people that actually did apply. It's looking like less and less entries. if anyone does win this, or at least goes on to the third round which is the tournament, document what you did for us. I would love to read a recap of how this all goes down.

Spam pele kick, waste their reversals, then hit as many finishers as you can. For me, the worst part was definitely the submission matches. Along with the time limit, it was nearly impossible. So many hours I'll never get back!

So many hours I'll never get back! That's what I did. But for me, I stuck to moves that I could grab from afar (like the A -> Backbreacker) or that I could strike from a good distance (the leg kick). I then stomped and stomped and stomped. Anything that took a long time to go through (like the AJ Styles Rush strike) I avoided because I needed those extra seconds. Submission matches killed me too. I hated Roman. I remember after struggling so long ti beat him, I got past him and then mowed through everyone till Brock Lesnar. He drops me the a clothesline and then slaps on some armbar or dragon sleeper (can't remember which), and I tapped within seconds of the bell. Almost through my controller through my TV and gave up right there.

Its 4pm Eastern Time, and I haven't heard back from 2k regarding my entry. I'm going to go ahead and just stop checking my email at this point. Most likely didn't move onto the semis. Oh well. Not sure why I bought into the pipe dream
