Can we finally get a decent DDP Elite?

I have both and don't think either of his elites are that bad. Eventually I'd love an elite DDP with rib tape and a new head/hair sculpt, but I'd like to see more new faces before we get a third elite DDP.

Is there a mold for jeans tucked into boots? I can't think of any figures that has come like that.

I’ve been saying this for awhile. His first elite was actually good except for the shitty paintjob in his hair and beard. Same applies for the repaint we got. The basic just flat out sucks and I’m not sure why we didn’t get a elite. What we need is a jeans DDP with a removable sleeveless shirt, rib tape, new tucked in boots mold and a new headscan (gritting teeth like his old toybiz). I would also love if mattel made his 2k attire. It would be easy money for them.

Forgot to mention... they need to get rid of the bangs in the front it just looks wierd.

DDP would be awesome to have with a variant figure, too.

One would be his 1997/1998 look with pale jeans (w/ white abdominal tape) tucked into his boots, with a cut-off cloth DDP diamond cutter shirt, special DDP hands, and if possible the WCW US title. Not sure which WCW belts they can do now, but apparently something changed recently.

The other one could be his shiny dark blue tights (w/ black abdominal tape) he wore while tagging with Karl Malone against Hogan & Rodman. Same accessories.

EDIT: Oh yeah, he should have wild ass hair. No orange business, crazy dirty blonde hair.

the closest i can think of off the top of my head is john morrison. and thats a stretch, but could still be passable

Blue-Diamond T-shirt, jeans, and a SERIOUS headscan (NOT smiling or screaming - that's all we've had on DDP figures for nearly 20 years now!!) with a great likeness too (getting tired of many flashbacks having only mediocre likenesses). Circa 1997. And a classic US title accessory would be the icing on the cake.

As is pretty well known around here, I've been asking for this DDP for years. That's the DDP I remember and arguably his most famous look. The most important thing to me is getting a serious headscan, smiling or screaming does not represent the intense/focused demeanour of the DDP I remember. I agree. I don’t like the face sculpt on the first two elites. The basics head doesn’t fit right on the elite body.

I don't need it. He was so lame to me. Always looked like he was trying too hard.

I have the Elite and I like it. Yeah I'd go for a jeans version but I don't think the Elite was "crap".
