part of me wishes they just re-released the old Legends Iron sheik with corrected trunks (instead of the biker shorts they gave him).
But either way another Iron Sheik is always good. Persian clubs is a great accessory. Sheik always had his own torso. Did they change it? That doesn't look the same. Which i could almost understand since they haven't used it in like 8 years. But didn't the Patterson prototype pics have the Iron Sheik torso?

Loving Mabel but I don't get why there's a chase attire when they're nearly identical. At least it'll be easier at retail not caring which version I find. Now that we're getting Mabel I'm hoping for an AE Viscera. ABA Taker isn't bad. Like someone said I think if it was a fabric shirt or just not tucked in it would look better. If he comes with a trench coat it won't be too big of an issue for me since I'll be displaying him with it on. The Hardy Boyz are going to be my first preorder in two years. Holy hell that's exactly what I wanted their first flashbacks to look like. I'm sure Team Xtreme will be coming down the line. I'm trying to switch to one elite per gimmick but that Iron Sheik is phenomenal. My Legends Sheik is beyond bowlegged anyway and can't stand up straight. This Retrofest line and Best of Attitude Era might just be my favorite lines since the original Defining Moments. I need to see more of that Pat Patterson figure. I think it's great we're starting to get the stooges. Will be getting Warrior depending on how well it fits in with the regular elite figures. My biggest Ultimate Warrior want at this point is a WCW Warrior so I'm hoping it fits right in. Agree with everything typed here! |

Sorry to say but not loving the ultimate figures. They don’t look particularly premium. Think I would have been happier with the normal elite torsos. That Warrior 2nd face looks like a bad photoshop.
Pleased with the retro retro’s. I’ll be buying Goldust and Macho!

OMG Mabel and Iron Sheik are epic!!!!! Surprised they are releasing another Sheik figure (another RetroFest sculpt that is meh), interesting accessory- what year is this attire from?! Also, this figure should have been released together with another Volkoff figure IMO as I don't think a Volkoff figure on its own would sell very well. Another bland showing for us Golden era fans, the only new figure shown was Sheik and that's a repaint. Looks like the 'first time in the line' well has officially dried up?! |

Here are the two Mabels side by side. The regular is Summerslam 1995 and the chase is King Of The Ring 1995. The obvious difference between the two is the regular version has the lightning bolt design while the chase has a different wavy pattern with the 'M' logo on the chest. The chase has gold accents in the tassels and around the collar. I think chase has a logo on the boots that the regular doesn't have, but can't confirm until we see better pics.  |
