They're regular elite figures. That's just the side of the kickpad mold you're seeing. LOL, wrestlers in 1999 didn't have kickpads, that was before the geek mentality took over. RVD, Tajiri, Jushin Thunder Liger, Ultimo Dragon, Jericho, Lance Storm, Glacier, Shamrock, X-Pac/123 Kid all wore kick pads off the top of my head. If I sat and thought about it, I’m sure there are plenty of wrestlers in the 90’s that wore them.

With the Retrofest line now expanding to 80s guys, I wonder who we will get in the future? Im not trying to be a dick (for once) but hasnt the Retrofest line always been 80s guys? The latest attires are of Macho (93) and Perfect (92) and they are still normally seen as 80s wrestlers. True, but most of the attires have been early 90s (Macho 1993, Michaels 1990, Flair 1992, Perfect 1992), with Honky he wore that attire in 1989 and 90, and Hacksaw is a mashup of three years - shirt is 1988, crown in 1989, and the tights are 1993.

Anyone notice the kane mask is the same as the ringside exclusive kane? Poor form from mattel since kane wore a full mask which covered the mouth peice..

Nice surprise on that Macho Retro! Preordered 2x of Macho and Goldust! The head bothers me a bit on that Macho like others mention, but I think the reuse of those Austin boots are the worse part. They need to make the proper mold for correct height boots on these guys. True, it worked for Austin because he wore smaller boots but Savage and Flair wore taller boots. One thing I like about this, they painted his hand and wrist tape even Hasbro didn't do that. I don’t think there’s been a single repaint yet in the line.
*other than Macho What I meant is that there is no one new in this line- they have already made figures of Macho, Michaels, Honky, Hacksaw, Flair, Perfect & Sheik. We need new faces (Haku, Hercules, Valentine, Koko, etc) instead of the same people being made over and over again. Koko would be awesome for this line, very colorful and could come with a few accessories. Elite 68 isn't very good. Undertaker is my all time favorite but not sure I really need this one. I might pickup Mable for retail. No need for another Warrior. Can never have too many Warrior's and we still need one (or two) from his 1996 run. Ok so with the new Retro series 9 Macho man we’re obviously gonna have to swap the head like with series 7 HBK. Which one do you prefer? First one for sure, the glasses look better too.

They’ve been reusing that mold for years and it’s only been accurate on the very first figure that had it. But as I’ve said a dozen times in this thread, Undertaker ripped at the mask the whole match and tore it off in sections before he got the whole thing off so he shouldn’t really have the full mask (or that damn hair) anyway

About Brie, part of me wishes she was in Seahawks colors like Bryan. The lack of paint detail on her flannel is glaring though.
I echo those who say bring on Viscera and Big Daddy V. If they're anything like Mabel, they'll be fantastic figures.

Warrior had shorter blonde hair at that time. Not a big brown blob on his head.

Okay this is getting stupid... how is it that Warriors hair is brown when it clearly has ‘highlights’ and is probably closer to blonde I’m stoked we are getting this Warrior, but it’s close to ruining the figure

That Brie Bella Elite is a joke. Still no paint on the flannel, no headband paint, nobody asked for it and she has only wrestled 3 times since April 2019. Pretty sure Taker wrestled more than that. It's weird to see a Brie Bella elite in 2019
They really should do a Mabel (and Jeff Jarrett) retro!
Hells yeah. They don't really have a "fat guy" mold yet. Those would both be great additions. I wish they would mold Double J's nipple cage though, but they probably wouldn't bother with a unique mold.
