they already did the orange on a basic. So it looks like the red...but just the wrong shade of red? ya it's like a dark salmon color in the pics. im cool with orange or red but if it's some weird hybrid he never wore that'll be stupid I hope it’s orange because I like that look but didn’t buy it because it was a basic

(which was also too light of a red for the Funker as well). Heck, feet to the fire, it looks like not only did they use the bright red Funk trunks. It almost looks like they didn't even use the Iron Sheik torso..and looks like the Funk body as well. The Sheik proto clearly has the JYD trunks, no way a smaller torso fits on that thing. It's the O.G. Sheik torso. Look at the ab crunch. As far as the color goes, it's a bright red. No doubt the flash makes it seem brighter.

[quote author=" RuthlessFigs" Sami Zayn - Actually looks good, shame the first attire wasn't an Elite. I'm stoked about that Sami! It definitely should be an elite and maybe it will at some point. I'm excited for the chase because I didn't think it'd be made and those tights have lyrics from my favorite band

Undertakers head scan looks great but the painted shirt looks awful. Hopefully it is improved before it is released.

At Summerslam 2000 Taker had that denim shirt tucked in. It's accurate.
Sure I'd like it to look tucked in a little looser, but it's correct!

It's just insane that we've all been asking for a long haired ABA taker for such a long time. And this is what they did

The mask was all ripped up so if I can just cut the hair off I’ll be satisfied

The head sculpt and body is atrocious on the ABA Taker. Mattel failed again.

the thousand dollar broski need to make Bill sweat over those Hardyz. On what planet does someone designing those figures, think its a good idea to make that attire with a cloth shirt (MAYBE...MAYBE if ur also giving them cloth pants ala Jakks Finishing moves figs that u could potentially tuck those shirts in). We already knew that Jeff head was bad. And the new Matt head doesn't represent his slicked down stringy hair in his face. Even Jakks got that one right. If Jakks scale wasn't so wack...i would argue that the Jakks version of these Hardyz was better u heard of Dude-gate. time for New Brood-gate. This is the biggest nothing burger in the history of this forum. They look good. Jeff’s head isn’t so bad when it’s multiple colors and Matt looks fine too. They probably decided on cloth because the Hardyz always ended up taking their shirts off so all the fangirls would pop. Jeff's head looks much better than the red hair version, it actually looks like him now and not like one of those useless mumble rappers. As for the cloth shirts, i think they're a great touch and give them a more 'Exclusive' feel. Like you said, the Hardyz took their shirts off a lot so you get a 2 in 1 with these figures. And by the looks of the pics, they seem fitted and not too big, so they look normal and don't bag too much. Plus, i think a lot of people are overlooking the fact that Mattel actually gave them separate Necklace pieces, instead of just painting them on or leaving them off, these 2 are loaded when you eventually count in the Tag Belts and the extra hands.

I was all set to say that Bill will surely be sweating at Toy Con because Asuka is going to be there. However it looks like she is only there on Friday and Bill is Saturday & Sunday. man I wish they had this good of a line up at the toy con I went to. My favorite wrestler, some dude named Bill, Christian and the lady that says excuse me!! 😭😭😭 oh I forgot about Randy Orton too. Such a stacked toy con RVD TOO

Double Slam 4 Hardyz were easily some of the most anticipated figures for anyone who was a kid during the Attitude Era. I remember when they first showed off the new RealScan figures in that big suitcase thing at Toyfair 2000. We were OBSESSED with that damn suitcase over at AFR/FZ. I know Jakks remade them for CSDA, but I kind of ignored CSDA for the most part, so this feels like a long time coming for me. They're gonna look so cool posed with the new hands, too! I know the shirts are a tad baggy, but I think they'll look good once posed and with the tag belts hiding the shirt bottom. I wish they'd paint the white stitching in their pants. But yeah, gonna pre-order them for sure. As for the rest... That Basic Daniel Bryan in black looks great! I've always preferred his Basics over his Elites. Though I must say I'm very happy they seemingly rushed out the blue/green SummerSlam gear (this figure had to have been wearing something else beforehand - we've known about it forever now). I hope they do his other blue/green attire (the version he won the WWE title in) as a Basic, too. Can somebody PLEASE show Mattel what Strowman's pants look like? They're more black than that shade of brown, and the camo is not just blobs of orange and green. They give him Basic-level detail for an Elite. At least the accessory is cool, I suppose. Those mock-ups for the Ultimate line are really cool! It reminds me of how they were doing the TTL7 and DS5 prototypes with the real-life backgrounds. The only thing I can guess about Mabel is that because that thing must've been crazy expensive to produce, they're probably gonna do a gold one down the line and recycle some of the parts for a Viscera later. That might explain the subtle choice in variant gear. I love how he turned out. That figure had a ton of work put into it, and it shows. Very happy Patterson has the full clothed look, too. They should've got Brisco out in the following wave. I won't be greedy, though - we're finally getting a Pat Patterson! He was so close to getting released in CS, but it got cancelled before we could even get a look at it. That Undertaker...we saw it coming as soon as they showed early samples, and wow. Mattel, Undertaker is not a fit 20-year-old. Why are so many of his figures skinny? And why is his shirt tucked in like that? ^Imagine this R3 Mat Fighters figure but with the blue jean look instead. Mattel would knock it out of the park if they made it like this. Retro Savage & Goldust are cool. Good choice in era for both. Retrofest Iron Sheik is awesome! I was hoping we'd get the red gear, and those accessories are hilarious and perfect for him. I'm glad that at least with the Retrofest line, they're doing less common repaints opposed the same usual faces. We hadn't seen an Elite HTM in forever, an Elite Duggan since the Legends days, and an Elite Iron Sheik in tights since those ill-fated Legends 2-packs. All in all, some good, some not so good, and some great. I wasn't expecting too much to be shown today, so it was nice to see a good preview to hold us over another month.

More repaints! Not one 'first time in the line' figure in this series- sad and pathetic IMO. I don’t think there’s been a single repaint yet in the line.
*other than Macho What I meant is that there is no one new in this line- they have already made figures of Macho, Michaels, Honky, Hacksaw, Flair, Perfect & Sheik. We need new faces (Haku, Hercules, Valentine, Koko, etc) instead of the same people being made over and over again.

That Brie Bella Elite is a joke. Still no paint on the flannel, no headband paint, nobody asked for it and she has only wrestled 3 times since April 2019. Pretty sure Taker wrestled more than that.

Hey lets make ABA Taker. "cool the one that everyone wants." No make the one that no-one wants. Lets put out another Braun. "Should we give him the black pants he's been wearing for years?. "NO. give him the same brown pants we did on his last 10 figures..even though he hasn't worn those pants since like 2016". they do this to themselves. Somebody there is actively making these decisions. I agree with this. There's no way they haven't read the overwhelming majority request a Judgment Day 2000 ABA Undertaker over the years. There's just no way they missed it. But of course, they just had to go obscure instead of giving us what we wanted. Nobody wanted that version of ABA Taker. Now what? 5 more years before the next ABA Taker that will likely be another obscure attire? And that Braun with the same exact deco as his last however many releases is just embarrassing and lazy. It's actually not even close to being accurate to when he bashed Elias with the cello either so they can't use that excuse. The pants look way different and he was wearing his "Get These Hands" shirt. It's like they didn't even check for accuracy and only worried about the accessory.
