I would think the 94 splatter print from the summer of 94 with a leather jacket (not rubber like the other figures). Most likely it would come with multiple hands, and hopefully some shades that aren't plain but had some refracting to them. most likely wcw according to info bill gave at a toycon in Modesto I think? Someone asked him what would be the next Bret and apparently his response was wcw (Insert Steve Carell gif) NOooo Please God No! I hope it's a WWF version. Give us another cool jacket like the defining moments or even a different color using the first Ringside exclusive Bret. His WCW attires had nothing unique compared to the WWF ones. (WWF: Paint splatter, orange outline singlet, skulls and stars on the side) The WCW attire is pretty much the defining moments attire, unless that's getting a rerelease. Another thing, I wonder what a singlet would look like with that new torso mold??? |

Bret oughta be interesting, Shinsuke is a hard sell for me I agree. Mattel just released an awesome Nakamura in the Elite line. If they trying to sell the attire he wears now, it might not fly off shelves. |

Ok I figured the next flashback would probably be either Mach, Bret or Shawn and I'm thrilled to see it's Bret. We can definitely expect a leather jacket then. I can't wait for that.
Nakamura though? At the risk of being over dramatic, I really hope that doesn't hurt the line because I just can't imagine what type of unique Nakamura figure they're going to come up with that people don't already have and are willing to shell out premium money for. He only wears black and red and we already have every entrance accessory you can imagine including multiple jackets, a vest and a t-shirt. I know Bill loves Nakamura but this doesn't seem like a hot pick for a brand new premium line. Ronda might have been a special case being her first ring gear figure, but if they had to go with someone who already has figures then it seems like Jeff Hardy or AJ Styles would have been much safer picks considering the colorful gear they wear and their overall popularity. AJ could also come with a cloth hooded vest which would be a great improvement over the plastic ones where you have to change the hoods out. I'll give them a chance and wait to see it before I go too overboard but that's a really puzzling decision.

Well all I’m hoping is that they fix those torsos on those ultimate editions. They look hideous. If the lower part of the torso was wider, it might not look so bad. I’m also hoping for a wcw Bret, pleather jacket, round glasses and some new headscans. Hopefully, we get a ‘98 Crow Sting in this line with the proper tall boots, wider singlet, aluminum bat, and pleather jacket.

So there is going to be a Flashback series 4? Must have missed that announcement last night. Any pics shown? Which page are they on?
EDIT:Just checked and it is the Ultimate line everyone was talking about...doh to me lol. Will be interesting to see which Bret we get. More than likely a WCW though as we haven't received a figure of him from that era and also the UW is a WCW figure so yeah.

It's a very strange decision (especially if this is his one and only release) - not only are we getting 2 Mable's, but they're also making them incredibly similar to each other? I guess it saves me having to search for/buy the chase figure... I would have loved a Viscera as the Chase but oh well. Totally agree that with them being so similar I really don't mind which one I buy. |

Also, Bret and Nak will both have these stupid plastic arm jackets instead of a nice HQ leather replica won't they? :/

Urgh, more woman ultimates please, the men suck because of the awfully splitted bodies and they look like normal elites anyway. Can’t believe he is in the line, between him and Warrior, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. As for Shinsuke, I will definitely be getting it - but I fear it could cause the line to stall... should have been Balor, Rey or AJ if choosing from current guys... MattelDesignTeam - if it isn’t too late, swap the Shinsuke out for Balor, AJ, Rey or even Jeff Hardy.. |
