Mentally, I’m not allowing myself to think we see him on Saturday. There is a BIG gaping hole in the Series 9 lineup. We know about Joe, Goldust and Orton. That last spot was rumored for a while to be Cesaro but one online retailer confirmed that’s not it. Kalisto was also a possibility, but it would be surprising to see him get a Retro slot at this point. Series 9 would be HUGE if it had both Goldust and Diesel! Hopefully we get details on S9 soon seeing as S7 and 8 just dropped, and we have no preorders available or release for the next set. I hope this isn't going to be like last year where 2 or 3 waves drop in succession and then nothing for like 8 months or whatever it was. If they could keep these coming like 4 guys every 8-10 weeks that would be so good. Keep the collectors engaged and keep selection at retail fresh. |

These aren't as popular as Elites or Basics but you think Mattel could get them on a regular production/shipping schedule by now ?

A UK based retailer recently posted that this was the 2019 Retro distribution schedule.
#7 due late Feb/ early March
#8 due late March/ early April
#9 due late May/ early June
#10 due late Aug/ early Sept
Remember, this is UK distribution.

It'd be nice if S9 would come out in May/June; not holding my breath though. Still going to buy all when released but very frustrating.

For me it's mainly just about adding to my original Hasbro collection with the 'what if' guys and the good old Green Card series that I could never find as a kid. There's only a select few current guys that I'm a fan of that I really want to get. |

I really hope the Exclusive is either a “The Man” Becky Lynch figure or a first time figure like Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm or Ricochet.
I’d like to see some NXT roster and 205 Live Elite figures announced for the main line. Gargano, Ciampa, Sane, War Raiders, Moustache Mountain and Belair would all be cool to see.
For main roster, I just want updated/first time Elites of The Revival, Ember Moon, IIconics, Riott Squad, and Balor in red, blue, white or green attire.
I doubt any of those will actually be shown/happen, but I can dream.

Toy Fair hasn't begun yet, so I don't know what you were expecting to find. Everything is a wish list at the moment. It isn't a coincidence that Ringside's reveal is scheduled for the Friday before Toy Fair weekend. The announcement of the reveal was added to the first page of this thread yesterday, and I specifically asked that everyone move the conversation here from this thread, so any comments pertaining to the reveal are, in fact, on topic. |

Hoping we finally see Diesel at Toy Fair on Saturday! Is anyone else a bit sad that he probably won’t have a moulded singlet? I think that’s been the biggest let down on this line. I really hope they do one for him as so many retro retro’s will need one, it seems like a missed opportunity not to do one. Merged your Retro Diesel discussion thread with this one. It's best if we keep all posts related to Toy Fair in one thread. |
