Never seen a video that just shows how special NXT is as this one does. Brilliant stuff.

Nxt was far more exciting when people realized it was nothing more than developmental.

Oh God no. I'm not talented enough. I can barely work out how Windows Movie Maker works.

Don’t care for the song, but very cool video nonetheless. It’s truly amazing what NXT has become.
I attended the original Takeover: Brooklyn, and I still feel that it’s the most fun, enjoyable, exciting overall event I’ve ever attended. I’ve been to WrestleMania’s, I’ve seen better matches, etc, but that night was just kind of magical from before any action ever started until it was over. The feeling was something else, especially for the Sasha vs. Bayley match. It was a pretty big deal being the first Takeover outside of Full Sail, and it was just the beginning of what NXT would become in the wrestling world.

Goes to show why NXT is so great.
Also... I miss THAT Sami Zayn.

Building off the sentiments of LK3's comments above, I vividly remember how exciting and enjoyable attending NXT TakeOver Toronto was back in 2016. I really wasn't even all that familiar with NXT at the time. It generates such an amazing atmosphere with such a simple, yet story-driven template.
It's unfortunate that the brand has to refresh every couple of years due to call ups. If WWE wanted to they could legitimize NXT as an official third brand. It could absolutely transcend being developmental and essentially act as their own alternative under the WWE umbrella. Especially with AEW around the corner, this could be their answer to keeping the audience on the WWE product. I could be way off base here but I have a feeling that's one of the reasons they made an effort of showcasing the top NXT talent during the Half Time Heat segment. To me, it felt like they were going out of their way to say "This is the most exciting thing we've got going right now, give it a shot".

Early NXT?? Then where the is Eli Cottonwood?!?! Or Lucky Cannon?!?! All that video showed was just NXT Takeover stuff. The earliest stuff they used was Seth winning the NXT Title, and then everything from like the first NXT Takeover Brooklyn in 2015 till now.

I was late on the nxt train, which was a big mistake. some of the absolute best storylines - and angles - in the last 20 years.

One of the best wrestling shows I ever attended. They taped an episode of NXT tv before that event and in it may have been Charlotte and Becky's last NXT match ever.

And the match was won by.. Emma.

I'm a big Panic! fan but this song is terrible and a terrible choice for this video. Interesting you say that, because I thought this song was MADE for use in a developmental brand of the biggest wrestling company in the world. Everyone in NXT has high hopes.

Only thing that video could've used more of it 2012-2014 NXT, people are so caught up in how good NXT is now, that they often forget or overlook how good NXT was in those years, especially when compared to the Main Roster product at the time. It was the start of a new era in wrestling, they were bringing wrestling back into the word wrestling at a time when it was somewhat lacking. I'll never forget that days of Adrian Neville, Kassius Ohno, Leo Kruger, Corey Grave, Tyler Breeze, The Wyatt Family, Ascension, Paige & Emma etc...
Also, kindaaa bothered that Enzo & Cass were featured a lot more than most of the people i mentioned above. But other than that, it's a cool video.
