How I would have done it:
- Kane would still lose the World Heavyweight Championship match against Triple H at Madison Square Garden in the fateful Mask vs Title match in 2003. However, I wouldn't have had Kane have the goatee or the old man-like hair when unmasking. However, with Kane unmasking I would have had him just be bald.
- RVD would not be at the unmasking which is another thing that I would change. RVD would be nowhere in sight but Evolution would be as they would be the ones forcing Kane to unmask. Well Evolution (Triple H, Orton and Flair) would be there in the ring after Kane loses the match but Evolution they would have security guards too right alongside them in the ring to make sure Kane unmasks himself. Kane unmasks and then after he unmasks he just goes ape crap basically destroying the security guards one by one but also cleaning house of Flair and Orton leaving Triple H by himself. World Heavyweight Champion Triple H of course high-tails it out of there.
- Kane of course would be like the Kane of old after his unmasking like think Attitude Era Kane when he first started back in 1997. Kane would just go on a tear right after. Kane's scars of course are not on the outside but more on the inside with it all being in his head and of course he doesn't have a burnt face. The mask more or less is what kept Kane contained or under control but now that he doesn't have it, it basically makes him more dangerous and more evil than ever before.
- Kane would be on TV less as opposed to more. After a month of him being unmasked he would not be wrestling any matches on RAW but he would more or less show up still on TV but in dark, secluded parts of the arena. Kane then in that secluded part of the arena would of course cut promos but also in that part of the arena he would also show off his supernatural pyrotechnic powers after he finishes each promo. Kane then of course in the build-up towards SummerSlam 2003 Kane would show up on rare occasions but only on RAW he would do like surprise run ins (ie. pyro goes off, lights go out, music playing and the lights come back on and Kane is in the ring) during matches and attack random superstars whether they be faces or heels and he also attacks referees too laying them out one by one causing No Contests in matches. No one is safe from Kane...no one on the roster.
- Kane is not heel at all during this unmasking but the heel turn will of course be built towards like a slow burn heel turn but it wouldn't happen right away
- However, his prime target is Evolution (case in point Triple H, Flair and Orton) because they were the ones to unmask him.
- RAW GM Eric Bischoff then of course tries to put a stop to Kane. For his troubles Kane destroys Bischoff by not only giving Bischoff a Tombstone Piledriver on the stage but he also Chokeslams Bischoff off the stage but Kane chokeslams Bischoff into a dumpster which is off the stage. Kane then sets the dumpster on fire with Bischoff inside of the dumpster. JR and King are losing their crap on commentary as the fans are also losing their crap as they love every minute of this. Firefighters manage to get Bischoff out of the dumpster as they put the fire out. Kane of course is laughing maniacally while he admires his handiwork. This takes Bischoff off of TV for a few weeks. Austin basically becomes interim GM while Bischoff is off of TV for a few weeks.
- Kane after the unmasking is still wearing his black towel which was draped over his head and the week after he destroyed Bischoff...backstage RVD tries to reason with Kane. Or he tries to take the towel off of Kane's head and what happens? Kane destroys RVD backstage by not only Chokeslamming RVD but then he also proceeds to throw RVD through a glass window too. Kane of course then walks away but of course after that he is still not heel but he is more a tweener than anything else.
- Kane's focus is still on Evolution and he still does surprise attacks/run-ins during their matches by attacking not only Flair but also Orton too completely taking Triple H off his game. Kane then of course plays supernatural mind games with Triple H in the build up towards SummerSlam 2003. Triple H still has to defend his World Title inside the Elimination Chamber at SummerSlam 2003 against Goldberg, HBK, Jericho, Nash and Orton. That match still goes on as planned. Evolution is not safe from Kane.
- Kane basically unnerves Evolution at every turn but also with him attacking anyone and everyone that is where the Chairman of the company Mr. McMahon starts to intercede. Kane basically destroys Vince for his troubles as no one can control Kane. Vince is in a heap as security rolls up as Kane is taken out of the arena. Kane then is shackled and chained of course as he is taken out of the arena after he destroys Mr. McMahon.
- SummerSlam 2003 build-up Evolution still not feeling safe basically buy themselves protection from Kane that being RAW superstars on the roster specifically heel superstars by waving money around and of course the heels basically volunteer themselves to be bodyguards for Evolution since Kane is on the loose. It still does not matter because Kane still finds a way to destroy the heel superstars who are supposed to be watching Evolution's back.
- Evolution then afterwards get to their locker room but as soon as they do they see their locker room destroyed but also they see a supernatural message from Kane in their locker room. Triple H is losing his crap as he is of course angry as hell and so are Flair and Orton. Evolution at this point are terrified but of course they try to hide it.
- Final week heading into SummerSlam 2003 Evolution (Triple H, Flair, Orton) are talking about the Elimination Chamber considering Triple H has to defend his title inside the Chamber but that he is confident that he is gonna have help inside the Chamber since Orton is also in it. Evolution are also celebrating because of the fact that since it is the biggest party of the summer they want to celebrate it in style which they do in the ring. Women are in the ring with them as they have a cake inside the ring as well as champagne but then the pyro goes off. Lights go out as Kane's music plays. Evolution are scared to death especially the women they have in the ring with them but we don't see Kane at all but we just hear his voice in the arena. Kane then of course cuts a promo telling them that by unmasking him they not only liberated him but at the same time by doing it they also opened Pandora's Box but that it does not matter to him who is World Heavyweight Champion because after the Chamber is over he is setting his sights on that person even if it is Triple H. Kane then laughs as his pyro goes off again leaving Triple H angry. Bischoff is also back on this same episode.
- Also on the final RAW before SummerSlam Evolution are in a Six Man Tag Team Match against Goldberg, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash as the RAW main event. However, during this match Kane does his last surprise attack/run-in which he does after the match is over rather than during it. Evolution of course are standing tall but Kane then shows up as he lays out all of Evolution including finally getting his hands on Triple H as he lays Triple H out with a Chokeslam. Kane stands tall to finish the episode.
- SummerSlam 2003 Elimination Chamber still goes on as planned. More or less same finishes and in the Final 2 we get Triple H/Goldberg. Just as Goldberg is about to hit the Spear on Triple H, Triple H has a sledgehammer and hits Goldberg with it as Goldberg comes in with a Spear. However, Triple H doesn't pin Goldberg. The match still is going on but somehow Triple H basically invites Flair and Orton inside the Chamber as Evolution somehow break into the Chamber while the match is still happening. Evolution then handcuff Goldberg to the Chamber as Triple H basically has the sledgehammer still in his hand as he brutalizes Goldberg with it. Goldberg is a bloody mess of course but then so is Triple H. Just when they aren't done yet with the sledgehammer or case in point Triple H is not done with it, lights go out in the Chamber and pyro goes off. Kane's music starts to play while the Chamber match is still happening and Evolution of course are still inside the Chamber with a handcuffed Goldberg. Lights come back on Kane is somehow in the Chamber as the fans are losing their crap as Evolution tries to attack Kane. Kane obviously no sells it as he basically just destroys all of Evolution including World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. Kane hits Orton with a Chokeslam and then he also hits Flair with one too after Flair tries to hit Kane with a Steel Chair. Kane then hits not only a bloody Triple H with a Chokeslam for good measure but he also lays him out with a Tombstone Piledriver right on the steel flooring of the Chamber. The fans are losing their crap. Kane leaves the Chamber leaving all of Evolution laid out in the Chamber. Triple H is out of it as Goldberg somehow frees himself from the handcuffs on the Chamber. Goldberg then ends up pinning Triple H 1...2...3 to win the Title inside the Chamber with a huge assist from Kane.
- Kane is now in a feud with Triple H heading into Unforgiven 2003 as Kane essentially cost Triple H the World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H is incensed as he wants Kane in the worst way. Everything has led up to this as Bischoff of course makes the match...Kane vs Triple H but it is inside Satan's structure inside Hell in a Cell. Triple H's attention is diverted away from the title for now as his sole focus is Kane given what happened at SummerSlam and even before that. Goldberg being the World Heavyweight Champion defends his title at Unforgiven against Jericho and against HBK in a Triple Threat Match.
- In the build-up towards Unforgiven 2003 Kane being a supernatural being just like his brother The Undertaker we don't see Kane all that much. We only see him on certain RAW episodes in the build-up but of course Kane also plays supernatural mind games with Triple H too as well as with Flair and Orton. Triple H places a bounty instead of on Goldberg he places this $100,000 bounty on Kane so of course Kane shows up on RAW. You have superstars show up to try to collect the bounty but they all fail miserably until Batista makes his return and lays out Kane collecting the bounty. All 4 Evolution members destroy Kane before Hell in a Cell at Unforgiven. Triple H basically uses a sledgehammer on Kane.
- Unforgiven 2003 inside Hell in a Cell Kane beats Triple H giving Triple H his first loss inside Hell in a Cell. Of course it would be a brutal match hard-hitting back and forth match. Both men would kick out of each other's finishers and of course weapons galore. Kane even kicks out of a sledgehammer shot after Triple H lays him out with as hard a sledgehammer shot. Triple H of course tries to end it 1...2...Kane miraculously kicks out. Triple H can't believe it. Kane sits up as Triple H is losing his crap in fear as Kane basically has a second wind. He basically beats the holy hell out of Triple H and the match eventually ends in Kane hitting a Tombstone Piledriver on Triple H on a barbed wire steel chair pinning Triple H 1...2...3. Both men of course are bloody messes especially Triple H. Unmasking is avenged as Kane's feud with Triple H is over. Next night on RAW after the brutal Hell in a Cell Match that Kane had with Triple H last night is where we see the shocking heel turn of Kane.
- Bischoff of course tries to control Kane and knows he can't do it. Hell, no one has been able to control Kane until now. Bischoff invites Smackdown superstar Kane's very own brother Big Evil...American Bad Ass Taker to RAW. Booger Red...Big Evil shows up on RAW motorcycle and all as Undertaker's music "You're Gonna Pay" plays as Taker shows up on RAW to try to control his younger brother courtesy of Bischoff since Bischoff is desperate. Undertaker of course tries to reason with Kane by telling him that he never needed the mask anyway basically trying to snap his brother out of this rampage he has been on for months since his unmasking. Big mistake. Kane snaps and beats the holy hell out of his brother The Undertaker which sets off Kane's heel turn.
- Fast forward to No Mercy 2003 Undertaker is facing off against Brock Lesnar and who costs him his match against Brock for the WWE Championship? Not Mr. McMahon...none other than RAW's Kane. Kane showing up on a Smackdown PPV basically costing Taker the title by beating the holy hell out of Taker yet again and Brock taking advantage to get the win.
- RAW basically Kane starts to show up on TV more as he then is in the ring after he cost his brother The Undertaker the WWE Championship at No Mercy by showing up on a Smackdown PPV...Kane basically says to the world he did it because of the fact that he can. Kane basically says to the fans that he is a monster and that he basically showed the world who he really is while his brother The Undertaker hides behind this biker persona. Kane basically calls his brother out for being a fraud and that it is not who he really is. Undertaker then of course takes exception as it then turns into a brawl.
- Survivor Series 2003...Inter-Promotional Match the only Inter Promotional Match on the card that being RAW's Kane going up against Smackdown's Undertaker but it is in no ordinary match. The match is made Buried Alive. Big Evil American Bad Ass Taker vs Kane in Buried Alive. Kane basically beats his brother in a back and forth match as he ends up burying his brother alive. Taker is in the grave and the dirt is mounted on top of the grave with Taker inside of the grave. Kane wins the match but what does Kane do for good measure? Kane basically sets fire to the grave after Taker has been buried alive and the grave has been set. The tombstone of course is on fire as well as the grave. The fans can't believe it and neither can the RAW and Smackdown commentary teams of JR, King, Tazz and Cole.
- Basically sets up Taker/Kane rematch at WrestleMania 20 Where It All Begins Again...Taker returns in his Dead Man gimmick to take on Kane who has been on a roll since his unmasking. Taker gets his win back at Mania 20.
