You know, you really make it hard for people like me to do any "customs". I do one thing to a figure (that probably could be done better!) and I will think "Yeah, I did that...cool". Then I come on here and see the work you and some others do. Plus, you describe the work you did as "oh, I just painted here, sanded here, sculpted up here..." I just bow my head in shame and go back to the drawing board!
All joking aside, that Giant Gonzalez is a f'n masterpiece. It really looks like you just pulled it out of an Elite Box.
How long, start to finish does that process take?

This is a superb custom! Props on the amazing paintwork and the details are really captured. For the legs, did you use the joint of Big John Studd, thighs of big show, and calves of kamala? To get the longer legs I used upper thigh Big Show/ Andre, mid thigh Kamala/Umaga, the knee is also Kamala/Umaga and Big Show/Andre calves with a long boot or similar length to John Studd, Sid Viscous etc…. the foot part is an old Marvel Legends Hasbro Hercules with Boot laces added but you could actually just use Undertakers or Kanes foot part which is actually larger/wider than Big Show’s or Andre’s strangely enough also unless you sand or carefully Dremel the leg and knee to shrink the mass down and build the crotch length up the legs will look way too long 😉….. glad you like him! |
