Who else’s kid brain didn’t realize he had an accent and spoke slower because English was his second language and just thought he spoke that way because he was a giant and that’s how a giant would sound?

When they said he was from "Grenoble in the French Alps" it gave it away.
Plus, sometimes they would call him, "Andre, the French Giant" so that helped as well.

My brother used to stuff his mouth full of bread & do an awful Andre the Giant impersonation. It always made me laugh, though.

His accent never bothered me. Plus people with his height usually have a really deep voice

The only thing that bothered me about Andre were his baby teeth. That crap terrified me as a child.

Andre's voice was as much down to being a giant as it was his voice. French people don't really sound like that. Indian people don't really sound like Khali, either. Big Show was lucky that he managed to get treatment for the condition.
