What reveal for a figure had you the most disappointed and not because of anything wrong with the figure itself but you were anticipating a particular attire for that wrestler?
Mine has to be Sherri. The figure we’re getting is specific to an event but not that iconic and we don’t have a matching Macho King to go along with her. If they wanted to go with a major event then WM7 woulda been a much better choice. The best option woulda been the black dress she wore on multiple occasions and photo shoots. I get that wanted to do a 2 in 1 but no one was really hankering for a wrestling attire Sherri. I like the figure and will end up getting it whenever I find it but seems like we coulda gotten a better one and this will likely be the only Sherri we will ever get.

That leads me to mine, the Retrofest Macho Man. I love the packaging on those figures but the attire they gave him for that one just did nothing for me. A Macho King attire would have made that a must buy. |

Any Crow Sting are a huge disappointment to me, when I think Sting, I think Surfer Sting, so when Mattel release numerous Crows its frustrating as there are Sooooo many surfer attires to do

Mattel's Jimmy Snuka, The Legends Elites line had a lot of disappointing attire choices such as, Sgt. Slaughter, Legion Of Doom, but i gotta go with Jimmy Snuka, Mainly because Sgt. Slaughter and Legion Of Doom actually got elites with their most well known attires, but This was the only Mattel Jimmy Snuka we ever got , instead of Snuka's trunks attire, we got him in tights, and we'll most likely never get another Superfly again

Elite 63 Sami Zayn. I thought we were gonna get his Backlash or Clash Of Champions attire and instead we got his weakest attire yet. Plus it was based of a extremely forgettable one week angle. Plus seeing we only get a new Sami Zayn like every 11-12 waves we’re gonna have to wait a while. Mattel really dropped the ball

The new Sherri is a miss for me and I likely won't be buying it. I like the Jakks Sherri in the black dress much better. It fits in with the Elite line perfectly.

Easily Snuka for me. He should have been tiger print trunks and barefoot.
Other than Snuka the only other I would say is the Best of Attitude Era Triple H not being hHh trunks.

RVD - hes had far more iconic attires than the 1 elite we got

Sorry PJ - it’s the dm gab sting for me.
I wanted many elite surfer stings so bad and that’s the only one we got for a long time and it’s probably the only attire I didn’t want

Yes! I still think the elites should have been in wrestling gear and battle packs in street. Though imo the accessories made up for it. |

I remember being disappointed in the Lost Legends Jericho when revealed, was hoping for a Y2J flashback at the time.

Snuka was easily 1 of their biggest misses. And no entrance gear with Big John Studd bummed me out. APA and EG Balor are up there as well.

Any AJ Elite after E47 since they haven't been Payback 2016 or No Mercy 2016.
Any Finn Elite other than the RSCE since they haven't been Takeover The End.
Hall of Champions Kane as I was hoping for a double sleeved version like Basic 74.
Any HHH since they aren't '99-'00.
Any Undertaker since they aren't IYH: Badd Blood '97 (or something very similar).
E34 Hogan since it wasn't '96-'98 Hollywood.

Hands down the E32 Rey Mysterio flashback. Rey had a ton of colorful attires during his WCW years. So of course Mattel goes with red/black/white for his only flashback.
I'm hoping we get more fb Reys beyond the Halloween Havoc figure now that he re-signed. But that figure is such a head-scratcher for me.
