i've been watching these episodes over the last few days and just literally laughed out loud at the totally indifferent crowd reactions when max moon made his entrance

The Event Center segments must've took some clever editing. It took me a while to realize all the local info wasn't there. Then I realized, what I remembered to be promos specific to certain matches, were just generic green screen promos.
Did they do a separate taping for the eventuality these episodes might be re-run? Puzzling.

Maybe I'm completely off base... but being in a market that never got "market specific" promos on my WWF wrestling, I always assumed they recorded 3-4 promos, 2-3 for a specific upcoming market and 1 for the national version of the show.
During editing and broadcasting, the rest of the world gets the national version airing, the 2-3 upcoming markets get a version with promos directed at them as a demographic, albeit the rest of the show all the same.
Would mean the Network just has the national version.
- then again.... Maybe I'm completely wrong. I've never seen a market specific promo ever though..
