Oh well, we didn't get the cup but we sure went pretty damn far in the playoffs. Now, let's go Red Wings.

That was a SICK goal by Alfredsson. Just some crazy effort to be able to get that shot off in the first place, let alone actually scoring.
Miller had a strong effort and is already one of the great goaltenders in the league, but you can't take anything away from Emery. The major knock on him is that he hasn't been tested enough in the playoffs, but when he has needed to make the big saves he has. And that's all you can really ask for from your starting goaltender. Plus, he must be doing something right if he's helped his team make it to the Stanley Cup Finals.
As for Buffalo...they had a great season, but this isn't like the Rangers, Canucks, Islanders, etc. where you can honestly say that they got as far as they could and played their hearts out. The Sabres had a historical regular season and they HAVE TO be considered a real dissapointment that they didn't even get to The Cup. The Sens were the better team, but with the way the Sabres looked in the regular season I think everyone figure they would steamroll everyone in the potseason with ease. I think the Islanders and Rangers helped expose that the Sabres could be beaten, and the Sens proved it.
I want to see a Sens/ Red Wings Cup...Sens/ Ducks would probably be a competative series to watch, too, but I just hate the Ducks and don't want to see any West Coast teams in the Stanley Cup. Whoever they play, though, I want the Sens to win, although I wouldn't be pissed or anything if the Red Wings won.
Also, I ordered a Chicago Blackhawks white jersey today for under $100 shipped. I always loved their jersey...

Umm... lets go Senators?
I was pulling for Buffalo due to my guy crush on Chris Drury, but now that they are gone, and Chris Drury should be rocking red, white and blue next season, I'd love to see the cup go back to Canada.

Maple Leafs are a ing disgrace, they upset me by not even making the Playoffs nonetheless the Stanley Cup or when they do make the playoffs Ottawa eliminates them..

WTF? Lol...I thought Niners/ Yankees/ Rangers was a weird combo.

Crazy in downtown Ottawa. People honking their car horns like crazy, waving Sens banners/flags like mad, nice sight to see. I'm pulling for the wings so I don't have to stay up until 1 to watch the games

Great game. Alfie's goal was a pretty weak one, but I'm not bitter about the Senators moving on. I'm glad to see it. The Senators really deserve it this year. Not bothered by Anaheim/Detroit. Really, I'll pull for the Ducks, but then I think about how awful it would be to stay up for those late games. So yeah, here's to Detroit/Ottawa in the finals.. what "should" have been last year's final. Should be a doozy. Despite the loss and elimination, Drury is still mother ing magical.

As much as I hate the Senators, I have a man crush on Ray Emery.
