I find these oddly interesting... as an MOC collector a lot depends on how they look in the packaging, but they have my interest... What does everyone else think?

I'm a huge Batman fan. When that figure scrolled across my IG feed I instantly started laughing at how ridiculous and awesome it is at the same time. Will definitely get him and possibly Superman.

Batman looks like something out of Gotham City Imposters.
These look pretty neat!

I’ll probably get Batman and Superman despite the fact that I don’t collect comic book stuff.

I am pretty happy to see these. They'll be fairly pricey, so I'll pick and choose. Batman and Superman will be the obvious hot sellers. I'm glad to see Deathstroke included in the line, but I don't know what's going on with that head shape in the pic. Almost looks like it got cut off or something. If it is really shaped like that then it's a hard "no" for me. Odd choices on the villains (or rudos, as the case may be) in general.

I predict the line will flop and be on clearance soon. Unfortunately people don't want cool unique stuff like this, they want the same marvel/pop/motu/wrestling figure repainted over and over.
(But I don't judge too harshly, I can understand wanting the same f*king thing some consistency in a collection)

If they were a retail product I'd unfortunately be inclined to agree.

I don't care about DC (or Marvel, or any other comic book stuff)... but these are awesome! I'd totally pick a few of these up if i saw them.

How can they not have Bane who was inspired by lucha libre?

How can they not have Bane who was inspired by lucha libre? Maybe not lucha libre, but at least a masked wrestler indeed... As a DC Comics and wrestling fan I'm not even remotely interested in these.

Bane in this very stylized cartoon aesthetic would be rad.

So according to reports on twitter these have been cancelled 🤷♂️ I saw that today on my FB feed. I saw quite a lot of people saying they were let down by the announcement. I wasn’t too into them, that price was kinda high, they were cool figures though!

I think the theory was good but execution was poor... wasn't that long ago tho (NY Toy Fare) that I saw a video (think from pixel dan) where he interviewed someone from mattel who said they had high hopes for the series and were hoping for a ring etc down the line

Mattel had the better idea of making wrestlers dressed as DC characters (Rey Mysterio/Batman, Kofi Kingston/Robin, Sasha Banks/Wonder Woman, Alexa Bliss/Harley Quinn, etc) not the other way around.

I wonder if there's been some changed in personnel at the company? Obv to get to the stage of having these produced and know how and when they're being released is a lot of stages from planning and design to proptotypes, test shots, then looking at market trends and the target audience to decide how and when to release them...
