I'm pretty caught up with my collection but I still usually browse the figures at retail stores if i'm picking up food or other things.
Lately and I mean in like the last year, year and a half I have been very disappointed in the wwe section at stores around me (target, walmart).
I think the last time I found something worthwhile was like a year ago. Every other time I go its either stocked with series from 5-8 months ago or literally nothing on the pegs.
Anyone else experiencing this? Maybe its just my area or maybe the ones I find are more valuable to others.

I never found the new Hall of champions set at target. The toy aisles have been a mess with stock just laying around and random figures. They don’t get the up to date stuff. I know they have to wait until old stock sells but they need to do something

Nope I am completely with you! This is my biggest complaint right now considering these special “chase” store exclusives I will NEVER see and will inevitably have to buy for $35-$40+ online. People and Mattel wonder why they have to discontinue just about ALL exclusive lines lol Retrofest is the last good exclusive line left meaning very obtainable however the company that carries them is faultering

The last "major" retail purchase I made was Flashback 3 back in like October. I've picked up a few odd balls for part swaps but never dropped any big dimes.

Problem is, stores want them to bring people in and get foot traffic.

I’ve seen 63 everywhere including Gold Standard 3 times and at least a half dozen Backlunds. My wife found Dunne. There’s been a bunch of Sherri sightings. I’ve seen numerous posts of people picking up the Takeover figures. I think everything seems to be fine. May just be your area or you’re not getting out to the stores quick enough.

Agreed, I went to 20 different walmarts over the last month, a number of them multiple times, and only saw one Bob Backlund. One store had 3 sets out, everyone was there but Bob Backlund. And now some stores are already getting Elite Series 65 without ever putting out Series 64. Makes me worried for the flashback/legends in the upcoming Elite line. Had a similar issue with Walmart Flashbacks series 3. The only place I have had no problem finding exclusives is Gamestop.

its a massive problem. some of my stores do get newer items, but its usually 1 case. which goes fast and then in turn leaves nothing on the pegs.

I mean Bill did talk about the end of the store exclusive series was suppose to be the end the retail issue. It was to get more different figures in the stores more often.

Its gotten a lot better around my area lately I dont think there has been a figure I haven't seen atleast twice lately. I seen the NXT set twice,DIY HOC set atleast 5 or 6 times, Flashback 3 three times,Dunne twice and Backlund alot of times. The only thing I haven't seen in stores is any of the Chase figures.

Well, I am going to have to disagree. I don’t buy anything on the secondary market and only preorder the absolute Must have figures I want online. (RSC & Amazon) And have seen everything that has been mass released so far up to E63 at retail. The only figures I have yet to see are the McIntyre, Black and Sherri. But they haven’t hit my area yet. But I am sure I will see them when they do. The only one I am really worried about possibly missing is Sherri and that is because T0y W!z is located in the parking lot right behind the one WalMart and my other closest WalMart is 24hr’s and gets cherry picked during the overnight hours.

The only store exc .I haven't seen around here was the SS and FC2 sets .

If there where no more exclusives we could just order everything we wanted.
Then we would not even need to go to stores and waste all this time, energy and money.
When is mattels contract up again ?

I’m dreading finding Sherri Found Sherri by sheer luck two towns over. My Walmart has not had anything new, but the Survivor Series Elites. Mine doesn't even have any new Marvel Legends. Feel for everyone not finding anything.

yeah its really bad at this point. no consistency, all these store "Exclusives" seem to be impossible to find and it cant just be scalpers getting them.
sections are smaller too because stores arent ordering as much. thats the problem here. there used to be big sections for WWE stuff but its like 1/3 that now so stores are probably ordering a case or two at most which is just not enough
