Glad the line is to have limited releases per year, so it's not a burden on my wallet. Also will probably only get the legends and skip the current, so thats half the releases to save on.

I love how collectors get sticker shocked on a $30 figure, yet are begging Mattel to release that scale entrance stage. That is easiky a $130-$199 stage. Agreed. If $30 is too much, you shouldn't be collecting. Stick to basics and clearance stores.

Hopefully they will continue with 1 current star and 1 legend, with the price and articulation, these seem to be more geared for collectors than kids. Hopefully we get a great Macho King out of this line. Surfer Sting with a more posable jacket, Hollywood Hogan, etc. With Warrior, the chest articulation is huge but if you leave the jacket on it's not that noticeable. I like that they added some highlights to the hair to make it less brown and more dirty blonde like he was at the time. Anyone else think this will only be for the top stars and not niche characters? Maybe a Savage figure from the Snake attack!!! Have replacement arm with blood soaked bandage

Those are only $10. Even if they made a plastic one I wouldn't buy it, $130-$199 for some sheets of plastic as bland as a Barbie Beach House gets a big NO TY from me.
He can make any argument he wants. Not really going to change my opinion on the matter, nor will mine change his. Lol. Elite’s across the body arm range sucks. Needs to be addressed imo. Whether that’s butterfly joints, or deeper chest indents, I don’t care.
I get the impression people around here don't stray far beyond wrestling figures. Like any joint, you can find examples of them that look awesome and some that look like butt. It all depends on what aesthetic the lead designer wants for the line, and what is physically possible/structurally sound according to the engineers.
For this crowd, I think adding "dents" near the meeting point of the pecs/shoulders to let the arms cross more would be enough. I did it to a Batista figure and it still looks good while adding a noticeable amount of range.
Well that’s exactly it. If the technology is there and it looks good, do it. But if it’s ugly then don’t bother. They got Ronda right by hiding it under her bra, it looks good. Now find a way to replicate that with the men, and if you can’t then the old ab crunch is fine. As for the shoulders, if you can make it look good, go for it. But I’ve never seen a butterfly joint figure I’ve ever liked. But seriously, was anybody asking for toe articulation? And what benefit does it even provide? Nobody they’re using it on is barefoot so why bother?

I preordered Ronda. Passed on Warrior though. It looked cool but I already got my favorite Warrior attires and don’t need to spend that money on another Warrior.
I’m interested to see Bret and Nakamura. For Nakamura I hope they fix his parts. His current Elites are terrible in my opinion. They look gigantic and barely move.

I will get Warrior for my Warrior collection, but I'd prefer the standard elite torso for uniformity.

Those torso's are butt uggggllllyyyy! Is it Bill that makes these decisions? The dude needs replacing he gets too many things wrong, from the character selections on the retros, to the ugly FX, to these ugly torso's, Harley Race missing from retail, Pete Dunne the UK champion not available in the UK....urgh he just continues to mess up.

It looks good for toy photography, the hype guy for the figures even pointed out in a video something like "great for all your instagramming toy pics!"
Other than that, I haven't missed that joint since it went away, the ML-style ankles have been more than good enough for most poses.
Instead of toe joints, I'd rather get extra accessories like robes or many masks for Asuka (not those playschool looking things like the oversized mics and markers)

Check out how they did them on the 2.0 Vegeta. It’s literally inside the torso, so you can’t even see it and it extends out of the back to look like outstretched shoulder blades.

They could go with his Tuesday in Texas attire, he still had the blood soaked arm bandage, and they can maybe throw in the shirt from the snake attack. Though, there are a few other attire I would want before this one. I like the idea of Jake from the snake attack incident, though he doesn't have a lot of accessories for the ultimate edition line. They could give him an extra pair of legs (bottom half) with different tights. Kind-of like a 2-in-1.

I won’t be purchasing, not a fan of the torso of Ultimate Warrior. The jacket looks cool but at the same time the head doesn’t scream wcw 1998 Warrior. I don’t collect current figs, but Rhonda looks good. Kinda disappointed to hear that there’s a Bret Hart rumored for this line as I’ve been waiting for a new regular elite Hitman.

It would look the same.

It'll take a very special attire on certain people for me to buy these.
It's basically impossible, but i'd buy a Kassius Ohno UE. - His shirt will cover that weird ab crunch - The double jointed elbows will make for some great KO's - The detail will be good since this is treated as a 'top line' - Screaming, neutral and smiling head would be nice.
Again, won't happen but that's one UE i'd buy.

For warrior, can a torso swap be done? Like with a regular elite ab crunch? I'm just wondering if the crotch piece has the same peg to hold the torso in place. I 100% plan on swapping the upper half of this figure for a spare WM8 Warrior. I’ll also swap the hair for the RR91 Basic hair with the highlights. Figure is great, don’t mind the price, but hate the torso.

Every time I hear the Fullyposeable guys push it, I cringe because that thing would sit on shelves and rot until it went on sale. There heart is in the right place, but I think they vastly overestimate the real market for something like this.

Really excited for it. SUPER pumped to see the eventual Shinsuke! Going to pick up Rousey for sure. I don’t care all that much for figures of Legends. I think the ab crunch “issue” will be fine with smaller build guys like Bret and Shinsuke. Personally, I don’t find it all that unsightly on the Warrior, especially when the coat is put on. If UE is all about articulation and accessories, I’m down for butterfly joints too tbh. They’re sorely missing for certain poses. I’ll let PJ make the response to the suggestion of butterfly joints because he’s very vocal against them What exactly are butterfly joints?
