Unfortunate for the Suns for Stoudemire and Diaw to get suspended for Game 5. That is going to be a tough one to win... Horry's suspension should have been longer. I saw this today and found it laughable that there were more Suns players suspended than Spurs just because Diaw and Stoudemire got up from the bench. Supposedly, Stoudemire was supposed to be entering the game anyway so there was a reason he was already standing up. It's just ridiculous to me that Horry gave Nash what was clearly a forearm to the face and a dirty shot, and the Suns are the ones who come up on the short end of this all. I know rules are rules as far as stepping onto the court goes, but I think in this case an exception had to be made. The NBA front office just seems like a bunch of Spurs fans to me anyway, though...

Has there ever been a team that bitches more after every foul call than the Pistons? Christ... I know. McDyess makes me giggle. After every single whistle, he makes a face like it was a bad call. One of the many reasons I want the Bulls to make history. Pistons are a bunch of bitchers.

Looks like the ride for the Bulls ends tonight. And what a ride it was.

Too bad for the Bulls, I wanted them to make it to the finals and get another championship.
As for the Suns/Spurs, I always knew the Spurs were a dirty team and I never liked them, the whole team are pieces of ****.

The spurs bitch more than the pistons hands down. Actually, you are correct. What a brutal second round that ended up being. Pistons/Cavs could be one of the worst playoff matchups in recent history. The Cavs haven't even played one entertaining game this entire postseason. Jazz/Pistons could be an entertaining Finals. Anything else is going to be terrible. Go Jazz

I heart the Spurs. The suspensions didn't matter. They had all their players tonight, and still couldn't win.

I hate everything about the Spurs. Stoudmire was right when he called them a dirty team...the Suns lost this series when the NBA suspended Diaw and Stoudmire for Game 5 and gave the series away to the Spurs.
This is why I don't watch basketball anymore...who honestly wants to see the Pistons and Spurs in the finals just about every year? Unless it's Cavs/ Jazz, I don't give a crap about what happens.

Yeah, I would prefer to see a Pistons/Spurs finals with the Spurs winning.
The bottom line is, there is a rule, the Suns broke it, and they suffered the consequences. They lost to the Spurs because they couldn't beat them. What excuse did they have when they lost with all of their players and the Spurs didn't have Horry? None. I like Phoenix, but I am sick of everyone whining about how they were screwed. They screwed themselves.

they should of made an exception.period. This just sends the message that, hey you can give a clear cheap shot to your opponents best player and they suffer the consequences for it. wow what a good message.i can see why more and more people are turning away from the NBA. the rule should be changed to where it only applies if you enagage in contact.

Well, the rule should be changed, I think everyone agrees there. However, as of right now, they should have been suspended.

TRW's right. They had all of their players last night and still couldn't pull it together. They choked, fair and square. The problem isn't with the rules or the officiating, it's with the team. If you can't overcome that, then you aren't worthy to be called Champion.

Yeah, they were in San Antonio last night though. That's the difference maker.

Yeah, they were in San Antonio last night though. That's the difference maker. If you are a Champion, being in the opponents home shouldn't matter.
