Just curious to hear some stories from folks who've bought figures of guys but due to the strange/questionable parts selection found yourself not playing with it as much as you would have otherwise. The current Bob Backlund just inspired this thread, I dunno what they were thinking making him so tall & scrawny. Amazing head, cool accessories, TOTAL fail on the legs & torso. A few others that jump to my mind -Jakks Classic Superstars Lance Storm with the cartoonishly large head -Every Rob Van Dam figure other than maybe his first TTL being midget short. -Elite Ted Dibiase is like Mattel unintentionally wanted to create a Mini-Me version, is there a smaller figure that's not a cruiserweight? -The Legends Mr. Perfect, thank god we got a non giant version in the HOF set. -Red & Black Scott Hall. Just look at his arms, obviously the QC folks at Mattel didn't. -The nXt Seth Rollins figure. Just too damn big & muscular.

The oversized torso on the Sting elites. It just looks so out of proportion. Makes me happy the figures come with a jacket to hide the torso or I might think twice about displaying them and go with the basics instead.

NXT Seth arms doesn’t bother me, that’s fixable.
His tiny kickpads with painted calves and giant kneepads to make up does bother me. They started using those because of Kevin Owens elites and used them on Johnny Garganos elite. But then they use the old ones on Daniel Bryan and AJ, etc...

Every Elite with the Triple H arms. I absolutely hate that mold. The newer big arm mold they use on the Cena/Booby Roode figures are much better but sorely underutilized.

All the early Elites with Jens/Baggy Pants, it bothered me so much that you could barely moves the legs up. Elite 5 Rey Mysterio's legs could barely move up and it killed figure figure for me. Elite 4 Finlay too, it looks like the legs should move normally but they hardly move at all.
The smaller style (Bryan, Punk, UE etc...) It's not the torso i hate, it's the left arm problem involved with that torso, FIX IT MATTEL.

Elite Shinsuke Nakamura. Aside from his head and arms, everything is wrong. He’s way too bulky and can barely move. They should have given him that Sheamus torso and thinner legs. Nakamura is lanky, not thick.

NXT Drew McIntyre. I think they could've chosen a better torso

I wouldn’t call them odd, but definitely have affected my enjoyment of the figures...The heads on ddp and mr perfect
It looks like the new Retrofest perfect head will suffice for now

The Wolfpac exclusive sting. Pretty much everything wrong with it imo. Mind you, Sting is my favorite of all time and I actually enjoyed his Wolfpac look. Let’s start off with the face, not only did they not paint the flesh on his forehead or chin, but mattel did not bother to paint the vertical lines on his lips. The nwo logo is placed incorrectly, thus making the scorpions sit too low. The torso is not proportional to his lower legs, it’s way too thin. The same applies for his arms, he should of had the lod hawk arms which have mass, but aren’t chiseled. The legs are problem with every other Crow Sting, but I could deal with it. The boots are also inaccurate. Mattel has yet to make any accurate boot for sting. The ones for Crow Sting should be tall and a little under his knee with a belt buckle on the lower part of the boot. The Wolfpac version has the proper height for the boot, but is missing the third buckle. As much as I want to like this figure, I can’t. I just tried fixing it and left it on my shelf. I hope mattel revisits this one someday... The Hall of champions eddie torso could work.

These were the all rubber Championship Title Belts. At first I thought this was the way Mattel was going to go, and I was about to end my Expedition of Gold. Once they were in my hand, I realized that they weren't as bad as I originally thought. Then, of course, they make a version of the Big Network with plates, and my collection continues to grow today.

-Elite Ted Dibiase is like Mattel unintentionally wanted to create a Mini-Me version, is there a smaller figure that's not a cruiserweight? at least they tried to be consistent with the scaling of his first hasbro figure
