Why is this PPV even a thing? Having 2 PPV's between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania is just pointless overkill.

Knowing Wrestlemania was right around the corner sucked all the excitement out of Kofi coming up short (same with Santino) for me. It was so obvious he was kicking out of the running knee and the second would eventually come and end the match, I couldn't get invested as much as I would have liked. Had it been in say September/October time, I could totally have bought into Kofi winning the WWE title. I think the whole event is wasted having Wrestlemania implications.

They need to just go back to four PPV a year and let feuds build. There are no and has not been any classic feuds for twenty years. Minus maybe Punk and Cena and Cena and Orton. Most feuds start and then are over in a few weeks. They need jobbers back and Instead of all these ppv bring back Sat Night Main event specials on the network to replace ppvs let feuds boil for a few months so people want to see the outcomes and keep the feuding parties out of the ring with each other. Most of the time with only three weeks for feuds the combatants are in a tag match or a singles match against each other what is the incentive to watch the ppv match after that?

It's not that interesting to see match after match, no matter how great they are and they don't move ANY story. There's no feuds that seem to matter. Like, back in the old days, you'd see a heel or a heel faction brutalize someone -- and it'd go on for a much longer time to build the story. There would be ups and downs to it. Recently, Jim Cornette told a story on his podcast about how he'd build up Ricochet that was so detailed and had an actual arc to it. That doesn't exist anymore, I guess. Now it's more like "Hey, look what so-and-so tweeted!! Now here's a match between them!" Lol

They have jobbers, but most of the people here cry because the jobbers should be 22 time world champions. That's what Dillenger was. But people were upset because 'no, I like him. Let Roman be the jobber and Tye can beat Brock.'

yeah, I feel elimination chamber would be better as the post wrestlemania event - start new rivalries, finish off WM ones, etc.
fast lane is completely unrequired, but oh well

Bryan vs Owens has potential to be a classic or at least really good.

Hate the idea of this PPV because it just makes them have to rush all of the WM feuds. Less than a month away until Mania and there’s only 1 confirmed match. Not having a March PPV gives them a solid month and a half to build all of the Mania feuds.
