who would they be? even if you liked who won, pick different winners (pick your top 3 choices for each)
1988: ultimate warrior (woulda been a great big 1st push for him) one man gang (monster heel making his name) harley race (fitting for the king to win the royalty rumble)
1989: andre (love to see him win one of these) dibiase (woulda helped build him up even more. he coulda paid last guy to jump over) savage (maybe eliminating hulk last to start fued)
1990: andre (same as '89) macho king (royalty) ultimate warrior (he shoulda won 1)
1991: earthquake (heel giant winning it) mr perfect (could brag all day long about it being the perfect rumble) undertaker (woulda built him up even quicker)
1992: piper (never had a belt, wins both in one night) sid (was who i was hoping was gonna win actually) undertaker (could had him come in last an toss hulk, flair, sid out)
1993: mr perfect (he shoulda got the big win) savage (or savage vs bret at wm) undertaker (need a big name to win besides yoko, these were the 3)
1994: luger (alone) bigelow (woulda been cool to see him win it) diesel (he was tossin dudes left n right)
1995: bulldog (he shoulda got it) bundy (i woulda loved this) luger (one last push?)
1996: vader (wish he won it) jake snake (he deserved it) diesel (shoulda won 1)
And one i REALLY wish happened:
2002: mr perfect

1988: Jake the Snake Roberts (probably the most over guy in this rumble)
1989: Million Dollar Man (thought it would have been cool for him to buy the win)
1990: Ultimate Warrior (he could have eliminated Hogan the way Hogan eliminated him, winning would have definitely made him the #1 contender) Mr. Perfect (could have continued his perfect streak) Ravishing Rick Rude (would have been good to help build him in the WWF title picture)
1991: Earthquake (could have had Tugboat turn on Hogan here and help Quake win)
1992: Sid Justice (the crowd was really behind him at this event)
1993: Macho Man (him and Bret at Mania 9 would have been a dream match for me)
1994: Bret or Luger (let one of them win it, not both)
1995: British Bulldog (probably the only other guy in the match that deserved to win)
1996: Vader (would have been a great way to debut him)

1988 - Randy Savage
1989 - Million Dollar Man
1990 - Mr Perfect
1991 - Sgt Slaughter - still wins the belt but gets the win here to make him look dominant leading into WM7
1992 - Ric Flair - no need to change an already perfect rumble. A no brainier really!
1993 - Scott Steiner - lastly eliminating Yokozuna in a twist of the July 4th challenge. Give them an all American push
1994 - Bret on his own
1995 - Bulldog
1996 - Diesel

1988: Ultimate Warrior (could've been the beginning of his mega push) Bret Hart (could've built him up earlier) Jake Roberts (could've won and been the top heel for a while)
1989: Mr. Perfect Arn Anderson (maybe the most underrated worker of all time. I would've loved to see him as World Champion in WWE- even if his reign was short) Ted DiBiase (arguably one of the greatest heels of all time- him coming in at 30 and cowardly winning would've made sense to me)
1990: Roddy Piper (a travesty that he never won the WWE Title) Rick Rude Ultimate Warrior
1991: Randy Savage (Ultimate Warrior wins the WWE title on route to WrestleMania VII and faces Randy Savage in their iconic match that happened in real life. But, in the main event) Mr. Perfect (how did he not win the WWE title again?) Undertaker (Undertaker vs Warrior would've been a draw)
1992: Roddy Piper Randy Savage Undertaker
1993: Randy Savage (vs Bret Hart for the WWE Title) Owen Hart (propelled him to the main event status) Mr. Perfect (I'm gonna ask again, how was he not WWE Champion?)
1994: Razor Ramon Owen Hart (could've faced Bret in the main event) Shawn Michaels (ladder match with Razor main events)
1995: Lex Luger Bam Bam Bigelow (he deserved it) Undertaker (vs Bret Hart would've been a great WrestleMania main event)
1996: Vader (would've been great as he debuted here) Diesel Undertaker

1988: Jake Roberts. He was so over. Not sure how you have One Man Gang eliminate him. Gang also eliminated Warrior with the help of Dino Bravo.
1989: Ted DiBiase. He should have paid or cheated his way to victory.
1990: Hulk Hogan. I liked how this one played out. Helped set up WrestleMania 6.
1991: Undertaker. He was eliminated by LOD, which was pretty cool but he really should have gotten a big push here.
1992: Ric Flair This Rumble is perfect.
1993: Randy Savage I think Randy should have won this. Have Earthquake and Typhoon eliminate Yoko. This would set up Randy vs Bret at WrestleMania.
1994: Bret Hart Lex Luger had no business being a co-winner. This would get us to Hart and Michaels sooner if Michaels was eliminated last.
1995: Shawn Michaels Same as it was. Ironman performance
1996: Diesel Would have given his character a good push

Ok for reals this time
1988: Andre The Giant (Faces Hogan again at Mania IV in the main event) 1989: Hulk Hogan (Would’ve helped build the split of the Mega Powers) 1990: Ultimate Warrior/Hulk Hogan (either would build the Ultimate challenge) 1991: Hulk Hogan (Faces Warrior for the belt at Mania 7) 1992: Ric Flair (absolutely perfect; would face Hogan at Mania 8) 1993: Randy Savage (faces Bret at Mania 9)

1988 - One Man Gang (was eliminating the most anyway) 1989 - Hulk Hogan (to build mega powers storyline further) 1990 - Mr. Perfect (was originally supposed to win) 1991 - Randy Savage (no shows but comes out later in rumble match to win) 1992 - Sid Justice (hard to take away from Flair but might as well) 1993 - Randy Savage (should've won to put over Bret at WM9) 1994 - The Undertaker (was the most over at the time, if he wasn't hurt he should've been in the rumble) 1995 - Lex Luger (give him one last hurrah against Diesel or turn him heel) 1996 - Vader (definitely the mastodon)
