I don't know who those two are, but still... Kota Ibushi and I don’t know. They wanted Zack Sabre Jr. too

They ruined TJP the second they turned him face in the CWC. Dude was killing it in EVOLVE and the CWC as a heel and then they turned him into generic, happy, babyface number 76 and he stopped delivering.

I never realized there was all this hate for TJP. I always enjoyed his work. Most cruiserweights are not given much of a chance for a long shelf life in WWE though so it’s not surprising

I was watching 205 every week for months until around the new year and I was impressed with TJP, he was starting to come out and talk walking down the aisle with confidence and I was impressed with how clearly he spoke and I thought they could definetely do something with him in the months ahead. Hope he goes on to better things.

I agree but the thing is, its easy to work a heel, its alot harder to be a baby face. Everyone wants to be a heel.

Good wrestler who I think just needed some "character attention". He was always just there.

Good. Now just keep him away from all the underaged fans on the indies and we should be fine He probably just tells underage girls he's their age that aren't aware of him.

Not a major player but maybe he can showcase his abilities elsewhere. I'm sure the money was good at WWE but if you get into the sport and can't do what you love, money isn't everything.

I could never get past the damn dabbing. He does seem like a more natural heel so booking him as a baby face didn't do him any favors either.

Is Arn Anderson gone too? Yep. Sucks, seeing how the WWE is celebrating Ric Flair's 70th birthday on Raw soon. I'm kind of hoping for a 4 Horsemen reunion. Now I don't think it'll happen.

AEW!! AEW!! AEW!! That T-shirt company is gonna get a lot of released WWE stars wearing their shirts now! I know you're mocking them but I felt like this was the perfect way to segue into this: Remember when fans complained how TNA was snatching up WWE cast offs and awarding them titles only to have them lose to the founder? How is AEW any different? Why is no one complaining Cody books All In (from what I understand) and while he doesn't main event, walks out holding the NWA Title. Jeffy Jeff did that for like 15 years in TNA and people wanted him dead after the first run. Everyone wants AEW to sign up WWE Talent. Fans hated TNA signing WWE talent. But...but...it's DIFFERENT!!! I mean, it's the same but it's different! Really!

Eh, nothing really missed IMO. Its a blow for 205 Live unless they're planning to bring people up there. Other than that, eh.

There has always been a handful of wrestlers who are rather talented but are their own worst enemy and are simply miserable or arrogant jerks. TJP is arguably one of the best examples of this because everything he does is done with such ease, that he can't top himself or go beyond that. Austin Aries is like a better version of this, and that's from someone who still thinks Austin Aries is one of the best of his generation and should have been a greater success.

I think what makes a big different today versus TNA 2007 is that there were a lot of people not in WWE that could have been in the place of those from WWE. Today, nearly everyone is in WWE and it would be a serious challenge and take time to build main event champions from the ground up. Another reason I think fans want current WWE talent is exactly like a TJP situation. Since losing the title two years ago, he has done nothing! Other than working house shows and 205 live a few times a month, WWE has done nothing with him. In that case, if AEW will feature him and his talents, it'd be a win for him, a win for his fans, and a win for AEW.
