Happy for Batista. He’s wanted one last run, rematch with Hunter, and last time he wanted to be a heel. So good for Dave. Hope it works out well for him. Great start tonight.

GREAT swerve. Made even better by who all they had in the ring. Having Sting and Steamboat there really made it seem like a good ol hunky dory Raw party. Even though Batista being there leaked hours before, you’d still think he was just there for Ric. When’s the last time we saw a return like this of a star of this caliber, but return as a heel. They just made this way more interesting.

I'm oddly excited about this. I just don't like Batista as the heel and HHH as the face. Hopefully they keep Dave a tweeter with him being pissed about the Evolution reunion and him and Ric really shitting on him

Raws biggest enemy is still the 3 hour time. That was a good show. But it’s hard to make anything that’s 3 hours amazing.

What amazes me is that they just managed to create/build a WrestleMania match in the 3 mins before RAW finished, say what you want about WWE but that is impressive.

If it’s Dave’s last match, which is the match he asked for, I doubt he’d win regardless of his opponent. Batista or HHH has nothing to gain from winning or losing. It really doesn’t matter one way or another. If Batista loses, it doesn’t put HHH any more over, and Batista winning doesn’t put him any more over. Both their legacies are sealed. This is just a fun match. I say just have fun with it, but IMO, if it’s Batistas final match, let him win. HHH can win his last. |

Meh, another member of the mcmahon family gonna be wrestling at mania. Have to fill up the card some way. It's not like they have two shows' worth of full-time workers and another 1½ shows' worth of developing stars to utilize or anything... |
