Well this week Zack chastised and talk down to all the people that have been complaining about the exclusives. He said wasting time, gas and not being able to find the figure you were hoping to find is all part of the fun of being a collector. He loves the hunt. Although his idea of hunting these exclusives is begging Mattel on his podcast for the last 2-3 week to send him a Sensational Sherri figure...and they did. I don't have an issue with him getting free stuff, it's a great perk, but don't admonish other collectors for complaining about the difficulties of finding these exclusive when you get them for free in the mail. I don't listen to the podcast, Did this really happen? He begged for it? I dont know if he begged for it, but they did send him one and said it was a perk for being in the WWE Elite Squad. |

To be fair guys , don't most celebrities get sent boxes on boxes of merchandise and $hit daily ? The Major WF Podcast has been great and probably a good help in the eyes of Bill and Mattel , not to mention their weekly giveaways. They gave away a Dunne months before he was found. I see no issue with them being sent things Right but Julia Roberts won’t have a radio show talking about how if you really want the free stuff she gets you should pay any amount of money for it and not complain when the prices get raised. I don’t care he gets free stuff, I care that he acts like he’s all of us I mean when they found those .01 cent HOF elites in Canada they gave them all away, where as most people on here would slap them on the bay for $40 + each. Idk, I think the fact that one of their  ig .10 cent backscratchers sold from one fan to another fan for like $80 Bucks shows that their podcast actually has a good impact on the figure community. Thus deserves to be sent things that us normal people aren't gonna be randomly sent by Mattel. The only sense that he is like all of us, along with Hawkins, is because he's just as into wrestling figure collecting as we all are. Even still to this day. |

I don't listen to the podcast, Did this really happen? He begged for it? I considered it begging, some may not. When you make the joke a couple weeks in a row about thinking being in the Elite Squad could get you a Sherri figure, and you know people at Mattel are listening, you're begging them to send you one. |

Hahahahahaha now some of you are getting super butt-hurt over Zack's opinion that it's fun to chase down figs as a part of the hunt and because he gets the hookup on some figures? Really??
For one thing, it's just his opinion and none of his opinions should ever get you worked up. I listened to the podcast and it was extremely mild and he was not chastising anyone but was just giving his opinion that sometimes when collecting popular things, you have to hunt for them and he personally finds hunting figs to be a fun aspect of collecting due to the satisfaction he gets when finally findings the figures he's been looking for. That should not be a controversial opinion. He clearly explained that he may have a fig hookup now being a WWE superstar and in the Elite squad, but his opinion is formulated based on his lifetime of hunting figures. It also doesn't make him a hypocrite for not jumping the gun like you guys and declaring store exclusives in the Elite line as a massive failure when the whole thing just started.
You'd think he betrayed the entire collecting community based on some of these replies and the posts insulting him for having "no responsibilities" and whatnot are seriously so cringeworthy and embarrassing.

I don't know if it's fair to admonish and talk down to the collectors wanting these figures considering how hard they seem to be to track down, let alone the international collectors that don't even have an opportunity to try and buy them in store.

Honestly, i'm just looking forward to all the backlash the Liv figure will get.
Ruby's out, Logan is meant to be in a Basic set right? So it'll be a sh*t storm for people trying to complete the Squad when all the Liv's are on Ebay for $150. Like someone else mentioned above, i can honestly see them making Liv the Exclusive, but also giving her a Pink hair chase as well, just to f*ck with people.
You'd think Mattel would have learned their lesson after the complete disaster that was NXT 4, Pete Dunne, Sherri & soon to be Wolfe, but nope, in Mattel's mind - "Store Exclusives 4 4 4 Lyf"
Thankfully i have no need for Liv so i won't have to dish out the big bucks for her, as for the people who do want her, well as Mattel said - "Save up and buy it off Ebay"

Hope Ryder is saving some of those thousand $ bills - history tells us for most of these guys (wrestlers), it simply doesn’t last (sadly).
That said, makes sense he and Hawkings (who seems like a really good guy) get stuff for free. I’m cool with the free stuff, that makes perfect sense, but he needs to not hang crapon those that have issues with the current chase program. Funny how he can make such a big deal about a freakin shirt, yet disregard the problems Mattel/scalpers are causing with the chase program.
PS...- if someone wants to pay $80 for a back scratcher, more power to them... stupid is as stupid does.

Ryder is an overpaid baby so for him with too much money and zero life responsibilities to fork over stupid money for things or have them sent to him is fine but these doofs who listen to this podcast and buy into this stuff are not helping matters. Lol I didn't know Jim Cornette had an account on here! But FFS dude, could you come across more jealous and envious of someone who has a great job, a beautiful house, hot girlfriend, and money to spend? Just because he HAS the funds and expenses to do the figure hunting doesn't mean he doesn't have responsibilities or is a "baby" (whatever you mean by that). Personally, I agree with it being ridiculous to pay the scalper prices that people are paying. But if you are not one of those people then what does it matter? It isn't YOUR money that's being spent so you can't be upset over it because it isn't your money. Brilliant reply. That kind of attitude is typical of so many these days, those that earn well and own nice stuff are often vilified by a certain section of the public. People who make good money and own nice stuff used to be looked up to, as something or someone to aim for, and damn rightly so, I absolutely hate that the do nots think its ok to attack the go getters, I know Im ranting, but the man works for his living, I hate jealousy, if those that bitch about it worked half as hard they'd get some too |

They might do. Apparently it creates a "thrill of the chase" coming from a guy that gets everything he wants for sweet all courtesy of the head designer at mattel. They get some stuff, sure. Hawkins did find NXT4 in-store though. I'm sure he wouldn't HAVE to look for them though. It was more of a coincidence. Not that I grudge them the figures, but I find it ironic he's tooting the exclusives when he'll get them anyway. |
